This cozy cottage is a short walk to the RI public transportation bus line and minutes from Interstate Rt. 95 making access to amenities in all directions very easy for both work and vacation plans. It is in an older residential part of town minutes from historic Wickford and East Greenwich, as well as a wide variety of shopping and dining venues. The cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep up to four people. The space Cora's Cottage comprises approximately 800 square feet. It was built by your host's grandfather and is named for his grandmother, Cora. It is a private home with a spacious, sunny yard. As you approach the house, you'll see a screened porch at the front. a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee! To the right of the porch is the main entrance door with coded alarm which opens into an entryway where the washer and drier are located. From the entryway you will access the large, dine-in kitchen. The bathroom, with it's oversized shower, is located off the kitchen. Access to the master bedroom and living room are through the kitchen and the second bedroom opens off the living room. The screened porch is accessed through the living room through a door with keyed lock that lock from the inside. The TV in the living room is operated with a Fire Stick (one is provided, but guests are advised to bring their own or similar device); TVs in the bedrooms are ROKU. The main bedroom has a Queen bed and lots of storage for clothing, etc. The second bedroom has a day-bed with trundle which can be configured as two separate twin beds or put together as a "King" configuration. Everything from cookware to china; a microwave, coffee maker and portable dishwasher are available for your use. There is a full-sized refrigerator and stove with full sized oven. Towels, bedding, a hair dryer and complimentary "starter" toiletries are provided. Water, coffee, creamer and sweetener will be provided to get you up and going your first morning!
