The other 8+ acres are surrounded by the Newfound Creek, perfect for a quick morning jaunt to properly kick off your day. This charming cottage offers a peaceful getaway just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and 20 minutes to the quaint town of Weaverville. When staying at the cottage, you will have the convenience of exploring the nearby city, hiking the neighboring mountains, playing on the French Broad River, or opting to stay in and enjoy the leisurely rhythm of the property and its surroundings. Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch, soaking in the private hot tub under the stars, or roasting marshmallows over the fire, it's the perfect spot for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of mountain living while still enjoying convenient access to the city's vibrant attractions. With its secluded location and picturesque surroundings, Spring Banks Cottage promises a rejuvenating escape for nature lovers and city dwellers alike. The Space Inside, you'll discover three fully furnished bedrooms, each boasting a luxurious king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. Relax in the spacious living room with a large TV, or unwind on the screened-in porch while soaking in the picturesque views and soothing sounds of nature. Additional amenities include three charming porches, onsite laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, and so much more, ensuring a comfortable and unforgettable stay for our guests. Bedroom #1: - King sized bed - Connected to laundry room - Full bath - Large closet space - Doors that open directly to porch overlooking the spring - Ceiling fan - Sound machine - Reading nook - Full length mirror - Ample amount of space to open suitcases, do a morning yoga routine, or lounge Bedroom #2: - King sized bed - 3/4 bath (no bathtub) - Foldable crib - Air Mattress - Desk for WFH - Large closet space - Ceiling fan - Sound machine - Full length mirror - Ample amount of space to open suitcases, roll around with kiddos, or add an air mattress for additional guests Bedroom #3: - Access by stairs - King sized bed - Trundle bed with two twin beds - Full bath with additional makeup counter - Desk for WFH - Private deck access - Large closet space - Ceiling fan - Sound machine - Full length mirror - Ample amount of space for more suitcases, more air mattresses, more yoga, and more rolling around. Guest access You’ll have full private access to the house, hot tub, Solo Stove fire pit, dog run below the decks, and side yard. Guests can park in the designated spots near the front porch stairs. Please note there is a second rental on the property about 200 feet away, and both homes share access to the creek, so we simply ask all guests to be mindful and respectful of others enjoying this little pocket of the outdoors. Other things to note Additional Information Pets: At our cottage, we understand the joy of traveling with pets, which is why we happily welcome furry friends to join you during your stay. Cell Service: Cell coverage can sometimes be spotty depending on your provider. Be sure to screenshot and/or download directions upon arrival. But don’t fret, once you’re at the cottage we’ve got high-speed WiFi to ensure you’re set for future cell and internet usage. Second house on property: Additionally, please note that there is a second house on the property, located ~200 ft from the cottage, which is also a short-term rental. Driveway: As you navigate our property, please exercise caution, particularly when driving on the slightly steep and winding driveway, and be mindful of blind spots when turning onto Jenkins Valley Road. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we want to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
