Perfect for canoeing Paddle-boarding (SUPs), sailing, cycling, walking/south cornwall coastal path. Nearby golf, horse-riding, shops, restaurants, bars, ferry. Bus stop to Fowey, Par, Charlestown, Looe, St Austell Bay. Nearby rail-station, taxis Parking: one car Space for motorbikes, cycles, canoes The space From the front entrance and parking area, you will immediately access the lounge, or access can be via the rear entrance. The driveway is great for keeping motorcycle's, bicycles, paddle-boards, canoes etc, The rear entrance leads to useful shelving, pantry, book and shoes storage area. The utility room is fitted with washing machine, freezer, hoover and brushes, worktop, sink and wc. There is a newly refurbished kitchen which is fully equipped with new induction hob (and pans), new dishwasher, plenty of glasses for all occasions, a crockery selection and various utensils, hand mixer, toaster, blender, microwave etc There are 4 comfy bar stools and oak breakfast table for dining. Guests are also welcome to use the selection of teas and coffees, oils, plus cleaning and cooking products but we ask that you please replace or top up enough for other guests to also benefit. The dining kitchen leads to the lounge where you will find a wall mounted LG TV, 2 x small double sofas, seating 4, wooden window blinds, games and small tables, plus internet. The cottage has central heating throughout (with a cosy electric modern fire) Upstairs from the landing leads to a new shower room, double bedroom with large wardrobe/case storage (iron and ironing board) . Large and small set of drawers (with spare bedding and towels) and wooden window blinds. The single bedroom (contains a bunk beds sleeping 2 people) it also has blinds, large drawers, hanging space,. The beautiful long garden has comfy rattan seating, a dining bench, comfy recliner chairs plus a charcoal BBQ and new gas BBQ. The furniture is stored in the garage utility area in bad weather, where you will also find a tumble dryer and clothes horse. Great for also hanging wetsuits or storing golf clubs and leaving muddy boots. Guest access Guests have full use all areas of the property, gardens, patio, with use of garden furniture, patio furniture, recliners. The garage is not accessible for additional parking but the garage utility area is accessible, storing the garden furniture and BBQ. Other things to note The property is on the bus route which runs til mid-night in summer and is very regular (just one stop) to Fowey. 4 minutes. Or a 20- 25 minutes leisurely walk. In beautiful Fowey, you will find a pretty beach, lots of quaint shops , restaurants, bars plus everything for outdoor activities including sailing, paddle-boarding and canoe hire, water taxis and ferry to Polruan. Please note: due to the open plan staircase the cottage is not suitable for very young children.
