The treadmill in bedroom 1 is inoperable (no key) and not able to be used by guests, as this is as liability 4. Trash service is Sunday afternoon anywhere from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The trash company will have access to the garage only to retrieve the bins and put them on the curb for next-day pickup. This service is in place for the convenience of guests, and they will respect their privacy 5. No A/C (July is the hottest month and the average temperature is 85-89F, our cabin keeps optimal temperature throughout the summer) 6. Additional fees might be requested for groups over 18 people. If you group is over 18 people please reach out to us BEFORE BOOKING. 7.Downstairs hall shower: There are two levers that both need to be pulled out for the shower to work. The top lever controls which shower head the water comes out of, and the bottom controls the water temperature. Most restrictions are in the summertime Please follow fire safety guidelines when using the fire pit in the backyard. The fire pit may not be moved to the deck and must stay on a cool dry surface. There cannot be excess debris or brush surrounding the fire pit. Please do not forget to put out the fire when finished. It is the guest's responsibility to dispose of the ashes in the fire pit after they are completely dry For fire safety guidelines for the inside fireplace/stove: there's a lever on the left side that opens and closes the fireplace damper. It should be open already. It is best lit with some kindling. Purchasing or making firekindling is a great way to help start a fire. Please have knowledgeable adults handling the fireplace. This type of fireplace requires keeping the glass doors closed while a fire is burning. Please be sure the fire is out before leaving the house or going to bed. If you would like to bring extra towels that might also be helpful as we only provide the allotted amount of bathing towels for guests. Some extras might come in handy.
