There is also free street parking surrounding the home. Mountain and street bikes are available to rent while you stay with us! just let us know in advance. Uber is available in the city. Throughout the warmer months, there are e-scooters available around the town. Beautiful walking/bike paths are all around. Here are a few key things to keep in mind: 🔎 Important Notes & Guest Peace-of-Mind Policy 🛎️ Simple Pre-Arrival Step (after booking) To make your check-in smooth, secure, and fully Airbnb-compliant, we use a trusted third-party platform called LinkBase. It takes under two minutes and ensures you’re fully protected during your stay. You’ll just: ✔️ Review and sign the short Guest Agreement ✔️ Choose your preferred Peace-of-Mind Protection Option: Option 1 — Damage Waiver ($56.50) A small one-time, non-refundable fee that covers you for up to $500 in accidental damage during your stay — no deposit or holds required. Perfect for peace of mind if something minor happens by mistake (like a spilled drink or a broken glass). Option 2 — Refundable Security Deposit ($500) A temporary hold only, automatically released 7 days after checkout, provided the home is left in good condition. 💡 Most guests choose the $56.50 waiver for stress-free coverage and no card holds. These options are for your protection — they don’t cover intentional or negligent damage, smoking, parties, or policy violations, which are handled separately in accordance with Airbnb’s Resolution Center. 🧾 Transparency & Optional Fees In line with Airbnb’s July 2025 transparency update, we clearly list any potential or optional fees so there are never surprises. These only apply if policies are broken or additional services are requested: Late Check-Out (after 11 AM without approval): $60 Early Check-In / Late Check-Out (based on cleaner availability): variable Excessive Cleaning (if left in very poor condition): up to $250 Deep Cleaning (grease, heavy staining, or damage): $100 BBQ/Grill not cleaned after use: $100 Unregistered Guests: $50 per person per night Lost Key/FOB: $175 Forgotten Items Returned: $50 admin fee We almost never need to apply these, but we’re required to list them for full transparency. 👥 Guest Count & Respect for the Space Please ensure your reservation reflects the correct number of guests. Unregistered guests incur a $50 per-person per-night fee. 🚭 Smoking, Vaping & Substances Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or illegal substances inside. Smoking violations may incur a $400 air restoration fee. 🔈 Quiet Hours & Neighbour Respect Quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM (Calgary Bylaw). Parties, loud gatherings, or disturbances may lead to cancellation without refund and a $400 admin fee. ⚠️ Responsibility & Care Please report any accidental damage promptly — we’re always understanding when it’s communicated early. The property owner isn’t liable for personal injury or lost items. We may need to access the home for maintenance or emergencies with notice provided whenever possible.
