Other things to note Airport: The penthouse is about 15 minutes drive from Alghero Airport, there is also an airport bus and the taxi costs about 30 EUR. Beaches: The closest local beaches Las Tronas and Spiaggia del Lungomare are just few minutes walk away. Next to Tronas there is a nice seaside cafe (Il Chiosco), and an excellent place for aperitivos on the water (Riservato). The great sandy town beach of LIDO is also only about 1,5 km away. There are many other gorgeous and family friendly beaches to the north of the city easily reachable by car or the Cattogno beach bus, which rides until Capo Caccia and back. The bus stops a few minutes walk from the apartment. Downtown: Downtown/oldtown and all the restaurants and shops are about an 8 minute walk from the apartment. You can find nice restaurants and bars along the city wall as well. Living room: The sofa can indeed be turned into a king sized bed, so your group can comfortably stay together. Groceries: If you need to do any grocery shopping the Coop supermarket is 20m from the apartment. It has very long opening hours. Extra info: You don’t necessarily need a car in Alghero.
