Welcome to Long Lake, a 211-acre all-sports lake. This 850sf cottage features an open floor layout for the kitchen/dining/living areas. With large windows looking out onto the lake. On the front deck there is a large hot tub overlooking the lake, great for a quiet mornings or nights. There are three bedrooms; one with a queen bed, a second with a double bed, and the third has a trundle bed (2 beds). The second bedroom with a double bed does not have heat There are 24 steps up to the entrance The space The cottage has a shallow sandy beach lakefront complete with a dock, floating raft, and lakeside fire pit. The tiered decking provides a sunny space to look out over the lake and enjoy a meal cooked on the Blackstone Propane grill. The screened in porch offers clear views of the lake as well. Whether you spend your entire time at the home or go into town, there is a lot to do. Enjoy the use of the hot tub, watching the sunset, kayaking, boating, Tube Rentals, Bowling, Mini golf, exploring the local shops and restaurants, walking trails, biking, fall colors tours, wine tasting, college football game at ND or WMU, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing, to name a few... We are located 6 miles west of downtown Three Rivers, 5 miles from Swiss Valley Ski Resort, 30 miles from Shipshewana, 35 miles from Kalamazoo, and less than 40 miles from Notre Dame. Other things to note - This is a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing lake. We have year-round neighbors and ask that you be respectful and keep the noise level down even outside of quiet hours… sounds and voices travel easily. No parties. - We are on a well. Not everyone likes the taste of the water so be sure to bring bottled water. - We are on a septic tank = ONLY flush toilet paper down the toilet. Guest access This is a quaint 850 square foot home. It sits up on a hill, looking out over Long Lake. There are approximately 20 steps up to the entry of the home. You will have sole access to the whole home. Shortly before your arrival details of address and how to enter the home will be provided. The lakeside property has a two parking spaces in front of the house. Other things to note There are two parking spaces. This home is best for date nights and quiet get together. If you are planning to host a party, or loud gathering please inform the owners before booking.
