Beautiful waterfront vacation rental located on what we believe is the most productive stretch of the lower Susquehanna River. World class smallmouth bass fishing, as well as great channel and flathead catfish fishing. Great opportunities for walleye and musky. Gorgeous views, tons of wildlife, and a relaxing, spacious property. This property has been set up specifically for hunters, fishermen and nature lovers of all types. There are on site facilities to launch and keep watercraft. The space Our river lodge, as we like to call it, is built in conformance to current flood codes. That means that the main living area is elevated approximately 12’ above ground level. The ground level or lower level of the lodge has been divided into three areas. Guests at the lodge will have access to two of the three areas. The third area is locked and is used to keep our mowers, supplies, etc. We’ve designed the lower level specifically with hunters and fishermen in mind. There is an area designed to process game, keep hunting and fishing gear, and a large walk in cooler to hold your game during your stay. We do add a small fee if the walk in cooler is used due to the added cost of electricity. The elevated level includes 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with a large open concept dining/kitchen/living room area. Much of the furnishings are locally made. Large decks on the front and back of the lodge provide stunning views of the river in the back and a large wooded yard to the front. The rear deck is roofed in and has ceiling fans, lights and grilling area. During your stay you’ll have access to approximately 3 acres of property that also contains a small pond, over 300’ of riverfront access, horseshoe pits, picnic tables and fire pits with wood provided. There is a seasonal boat launch on site , meaning that in times of very low river levels you may or may not be able to launch your boat from this ramp. If you need assistance launching your boat we will guide you to a nearby deeper water launch. During your stay you’ll be able to keep your boat in the water on site. Another unique feature we offer is your ability to schedule a river charter with us. We’re fully licensed and insured and have decades of experience on this stretch of the Susquehanna River. Currently we run a non powered 18’ Hyde drift boat and an 18’ jet/drift custom hybrid. Both of these boats are specifically designed for low water operations. If requested we will provide all rods and tackle. Guests at the lodge receive 20% off unlimited number of charters during your stay. Guest access Our guests to the lodge will have the use of all of the elevated living area plus 2/3 of the ground floor area. Other things to note Please note that we run a river charter business as well. Occasionally we will be either launching or taking out from the boat launch at the lodge. If you’d like to be notified in advance of when we will be there we’ll gladly do that. Don’t worry, anytime we’re there we make our presence as least obtrusive as possible.
