Ideal location for outdoor adventure, romantic getaways, family reunions, celebrations, & relaxing retreats in a beautiful forest setting. Kayak rentals up the road, 4 miles to WildcatOffroadPark. Hikes, Fishing, Lakes, Waterfalls within 10-30min drive. *No pets*. We allow dogs in 2 of our 5 cabins. The space We're on private property nestled within Daniel Boone Nat’l Forest, conveniently located down an easy state road off Intestate-75. Rockcastle River runs along the entire lower part of our property down an embankment. There are river beaches along our road + kayak rental & shuttle. We have lots of info to send you! Our Tangerine Dreams cabin is orange + citrus & Mid Century Modern themed with unique hand-built furnishings and decor. Sleeps 5 people with an open floor plan: Includes a Queen bed on the main floor + a faux leather sofa which seats 2 - 3 adults and folds out to a twin bed, a coffee table and 2 chairs, plus a 3rd bed in the loft above – See Photos. **When booking, please let us know how many guests and beds needed.** > We have 5 cabins listed here on our same property. We don’t allow pets in Tangerine Dreams, Sapphire Springs & Emerald Forest cabins (in order to accommodate guests who may have severe allergies/asthma), however we do allow pets in 2 of our 5 cabins which you can find listed here: Ruby Ravine and Riverside Blue cabins. All of our 5 cabins are within walking distance of each other. >Full bathroom, shower/tub. Set of towels provided for each guest. See listed Amenities. >Full kitchen with real hammered-copper sink, brass dragon faucet, retro style refrigerator/freezer, retro style microwave, 4 burner stove/oven, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, tea kettle. > Pantry items: Popcorn, hot cocoa, spices, cooking spray. > Coffee & tea-variety bar with flavored syrups & cream options. > Fun board games, Jenga, deck of cards, camping-themed game, etc. > Coffee table books on Mid Century Modern architecture & design + vintage style fun: a View Master + 3 reels of MCM builders > AC/heater: Mini Split heats and cools your cabin quickly! We also provide a space heater for your bathroom, a floor fan in the loft sleeping space above, and a central ceiling fan. > Nice furnishings throughout the cabin. See photos. > Pretty lighting ambiance – Indoor lights with color options and remote control. > No Smoking allowed in cabin. >We don't charge a cleaning fee. We just ask for dishes cleaned upon departure, trash bagged up, and absolutely no littering, including no cigarette butts or bottle caps tossed in the fire pit or ground. >Pasture pets: On the other side of our property across a ravine/creek are our pasture pets who you're welcome to visit! 4 cute donkeys, 3 goats and pretty chickens. >We often have farm fresh eggs from our free range chickens, so if you'd like some eggs, check with us for availability! We can leave some in your fridge when available :) OUTDOORS: > Front porch overlooks trees, grass field, and your fire pit below. > Your cabin has its own coal BBQ stand on wheels, a few camping chairs, and portable metal fire pit outside. > Pretty outdoor solar lights automatically come on at night to help light the driveway, walking paths, decks and cabin steps. > If you enjoy playing bean-bag toss/corn-hole game, let us know so we can leave it out for you! It's a wood board so we leave it in storage until someone asks for it :) PARKING: Parking space on gravel in front of your cabin between trees. Additional parking for another car and/or ATV trailers also available on a nearby gravel area or larger gravel area further down our driveway. We’ll send you our helpful cabin info sheet with more details after your booking has come through and you send us your email. We're open year round and for all holidays! Fun, relaxing cabin stay for birthday celebrations, anniversaries, romantic getaways, Christmas, Valentine's Day, family reunions, retirement celebrations, honeymoons, a warm comfy clean place to stay when off-roading, hiking or kayaking in the area, and a restful stop during a long road trip! Feel comfy walking around the grounds and hanging out by your campfire enjoying beautiful starry nights. We would love for guests to have an enjoyable stay and visit to the area :) Rockcastle River is across a grass field and runs along our entire property, 40ft down an embankment, with river views when you walk across the grass lawn. Tangerine Dreams is one of 4 new cabins, each with your own front porch and steps leading up to your cabin. Once your cabin is booked, we'll send you a helpful cabin info sheet and our website with lots of info & links for things to do in the area. There's lots of options for all energy levels! Dining, drinks, live music, beautiful hikes, waterfalls & walking trails, historic sites, antiquing, rock hunting, zip lining, bowling, paint ball, car races, beautiful Fall colors, fishing, and kayak rental + shuttle further down our road. We welcome guests to contact us any time with all questions. We live on the other side of our land across a ravine/creek (along with our pasture pets) if you should need anything during your stay. We're always happy to help so you can plan and enjoy your forest getaway!
