Our Bluebird Cottage is a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home perfectly located a quick 3-minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs and 9 minutes to Old Colorado City. With plenty of dining options and recreational activities at your fingertips, you'll find endless opportunities for both excitement and relaxation during your stay. The space @nestago welcomes you to come settle in with us! The home's living room has beautiful natural light, and cozy accommodations perfect for snuggling up on the couch and streaming your favorite series on the Smart TV. For those blending work with leisure, a dedicated workspace is also available in the living room. Also on the main level is the updated, fully-equipped kitchen, perfect for your culinary needs with the added bonus of a washer and dryer discreetly tucked away. Heading upstairs you'll find two bedrooms, each boasting a comfortable king-sized bed. The full bathroom is also located upstairs and equipped with plush white towels, standard toiletries, and a hairdryer! Enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather on the front porch or the upstairs balcony to sit with some morning coffee and enjoy the mountain views. *Please note that the back part of the home is permanently occupied. Guests have their own private access point and there are no shared areas. Two dogs also reside at the back residence, they are contained in the back and there will be no contact with guests. Other things to note Items to Note: -The home does not have Central AC but has 2 window AC units in the bedroom. -No pets allowed. -Parking is available on the street or driveway -This charming home was built in 1884, please be gentle with the older pipes and do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. -Please watch your head - slanted walls and low door frames are also an added characteristic of these older charming homes! -Winter months do bring the occasional snowfall in Colorado and the potential for icy road conditions, we advise guests to consider opting for a vehicle equipped with 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) or AWD (All-Wheel Drive) for a safer and more secure travel accommodations. -Please be aware, that there is NO mailbox access at this home. You will not be able to receive mail from USPS during your stay. -There is a doorbell camera near the front door facing the street for security.
