Arranged over two floors, SASSO6 is connected by a stairway with beautiful vaulted ceilings and slate stairs worn smooth over centuries. Two very large double bedrooms and a small en suite children’s bedroom easily accommodate two families. Surrounded by bushes and an overhanging olive tree, the pool's mountain water is cleaned by electrolysis and salt, thus virtually chlorine free. The water quality and location create a wild swimming experience, unlike a typical resort pool. The space The bedrooms have thick stone walls, cool in summer and cosy in winter. The blue (family) room adjoins the medieval tower and features the original chestnut timber beam and ceiling, now carefully reinforced with a steel beam. The en suite children's bedroom has stacked children’s beds suitable up to pre-teen (measuring 140 x 70 cm), which can be split to provide four separate beds. The kitchen / dining / living space is fully equipped with quality appliances, including Bosch induction hob, oven and large refrigerator; dishwasher; washing machine; and the usual small appliances, but rarely used for dining in summer. The en suite bathroom has shower over bath, suitable for bathing small children. A second family bathroom has a walk-in, unframed glass shower and all new fittings, easy to maintain in clean and hygienic condition. For six months of the year spacious outdoor terrace dining with Weber BBQ serves for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The low stone wall is a good spot for an in-between siesta (mattresses and cushions provided) and the ever changing light on the olive groves and over the sea is all the entertainment you need (with good broadband for the occasional rainy day). Exclusive pool hours are !2.00 to 18.00 (or by arrangement outside those hours). Children must be accompanied by adults in the garden and pool area, which have steep terraces not for the severely mobility challenged. The owners use the property for their extended family events and put a lot of thought and care into creating a clean and comfortable home from home, whether on holiday or working remotely.
