Other things to note My husband and I grew up in the Metro-Detroit area but vacationed "Up North" every summer since we were little. My husband fell in love with the Shanty Creek Resort area specifically when he was young and introduced it to me a few years ago which turned into us both being in love with the area. We have both been in the accounting world for 15+ years and decided to venture out and use our attention to details in a more creative way and start our first short term rental.
