Just 20 minutes from town and above the ice fog, it’s close enough to explore Fairbanks but peaceful for relaxing evenings. Enjoy a full kitchen for family meals, washer/dryer for easy stays, WiFi, a cozy fire pit, and kid-friendly amenities to make everyone feel at home. The space Large south-facing windows and a wrap-around outdoor deck invite you to soak in the stunning Alaska Range views year-round. Enjoy relaxing moments in the family-sized outdoor sauna or unwind on the secluded two-story covered porch, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or watching the evening skies, no matter the weather. With only two steps into the house, guests with limited mobility will find easy access to the downstairs bedroom and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower on the main level. The dining room flows into a fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar, creating a comfortable space to prepare family meals. An adjoining living room offers a cozy spot to gather and reconnect after a day of exploring. Upstairs, an Alaskan log staircase leads to a spacious common area ideal for movie nights, games, or extra sleeping space for larger groups. The master bedroom includes a secluded work area for catching up in peace, while the queen-over-twin bunk in the third bedroom makes bedtime easy for kids. A laundry room with washer and dryer and a full bathroom with a tub add to the home’s family-friendly conveniences. Step out onto the covered porch to take in breathtaking views of Fairbanks, the Tanana Valley, the Alaska Range, and Denali – a perfect place to unwind with a book or a glass of wine. Outside, the wrap-around porch offers a patio seating overlooking the yard, a summertime fire pit area, and with hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails just minutes away – it is ideal for active family adventures. For smaller groups seeking an even more exceptional view, we highly recommend the nearby accommodation, “Tiny Home on The Dome w/ Hot Tub,” for a cozy and unique Alaska stay. Guest access You’ll have full access to the entire house, with the exception of the wood stove and outdoor storage buildings. There’s plenty of parking available, along with outdoor outlets for car plug-ins during colder months. A few days before check-in, you’ll receive your unique access code electronically through your guest app. Simply enter the code into the front door keypad, and once you hear the click and see the green light, you’re ready to step inside and settle in. For your peace of mind, our home features a security system, smart locks, and noninvasive “house party” prevention solutions, as well as exterior security cameras. Located in a quiet, secluded neighborhood with wonderful neighbors, you’ll feel safe and welcome throughout your stay. Feel free to wave or say hello if you see them out and about. Other things to note This is a strictly no smoking, no vaping and no pets property. If you visit from September to April, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is required. Winter roads in Fairbanks almost always have some level of ice or snow on them and we want to you to be as safe as possible on your adventure! Make sure your rental comes with roadside assistance because unfortunately, we are not able to recover stuck vehicles at this time. We love Fairbanks, and want you to have an amazing stay here.
