Just down the street from Harbor View Café and The Pickle Factory, and close to Villa Bellezza and Woods & Co., it’s an ideal space for wedding weekends, rehearsal dinners, photo-ready gatherings, and relaxed time together by the water. This is one of two units on the Dockside property! The space Welcome to the Marina Bungalow at The Dockside — an open, light-filled waterfront home designed for gathering. With panoramic views of Lake Pepin, a generous kitchen–dining–bar layout, and space that flows easily from inside to out, it’s an ideal setting for shared meals, conversation, and unhurried time together. The heart of the home is the large, flexible kitchen and dining area, which works especially well for wedding weekends — getting ready with friends, hosting casual rehearsal dinners, or simply having space for everyone to spread out and connect. The layout adapts easily for sit-down meals, buffet-style dinners, drinks at the bar, or slow mornings with coffee and light streaming in from the lake. The bungalow is furnished with authentic midcentury furniture, fixtures, and lighting, giving the space a warm, timeless vibe. The natural light and clean lines also make it a favorite setting for photo shoots and getting-ready moments. Outside, the space opens onto a large deck and private hot tub with sweeping river views, exclusive to this unit. It’s a favorite spot year-round — morning coffee with mist on the water, afternoon conversations, or evening soaks as the sun sets over Lake Pepin. We’ve hosted gatherings of all kinds here — songwriting retreats, creative jam sessions for writers, chef-driven food getaways, and good old-fashioned family vacations. Each unit can be rented on it's own, or the entire property can be booked and a pass-through door can be unlocked to enjoy The Dockside as one massive, 4-bedroom, 4-bath home with two kitchens, two dining rooms, three living rooms/TVs, and a hot tub! Links for all listings are in my host profile. Guest access There is a large driveway with plenty of space for three cars. You can walk all over the village, and lots of other sightseeing is a short drive away. Check-in is easy with a keybox and a code. Other things to note Please note that there is an active train line right out in front of the house -- it runs the entire length of the village and river, and freight do trains pass by somewhat frequently, so once in a while there is the rumble of a train chugging by. Most people find it charming and not a big distraction (kids really love it), but if you're a very light sleeper this is something to note! Also, please be aware that the Marina Bungalow is one of two units on the property, which is essentially a very large duplex. It's a fully private unit with a private entrance, but there are some shared walls with the A-Frame Cabin -- the walls are insulated and almost soundproof, but you still may hear some guest activity in the other unit.
