Zona's many restaurants, bars and attractions are just steps away, the beach is a 5-min flat walk, yet the apartment enjoys a surprisingly peaceful location. It has a terrace with sweeping views across town, plus a shared pool and hot tub in a pretty tropical garden. It's ideal if you like plenty of space, a relaxed vibe, and easy access to the town and beach. The space You’d be pressed to find a more spacious and better located 2-bedroom apartment in Zona Romantica. The development, Copa de Oro, is just 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from the endless choice of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops in Puerto Vallarta’s most popular neighborhood. Copa De Oro is ideally located for quick and easy access to the attractions of downtown Puerto Vallarta, yet this apartment enjoys a peaceful location on a quiet road with no through traffic. When you venture out, the walk is mostly flat with just a few steps up to the building (unlike some areas of the town which have steep inclines). The apartment is generously laid out over 2185 sq ft/203 sqm. The main living space is open-plan, with a comfortable lounge, feature dining table made from reclaimed local wood, and a full kitchen. It looks out onto a long terrace that spans the width of the apartment. Decorated with native plants, it offers sweeping views across the heart of town and the mountains to the east. The kitchen and breakfast bar has a fridge, freezer, water and ice dispenser, stove, microwave, dishwasher and food waste disposal. It’s well equipped if you feel like cooking (please note that the main oven is currently out-of-order but there is a worktop oven/air-fryer). Off the wide hallway you’ll find a dedicated TV room with a sofa and 85” smart TV, a guest restroom, and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms are both large, featuring king beds with new hybrid mattresses and luxury cotton bed linens. Towels and beach towels are provided for the duration of your stay. The bedroom at the front steps out onto the terrace and shares the same charming view as the living room. It has a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom with twin basins, shower and bathtub. The second bedroom has large desk providing a quiet place to work, while its ensuite bathroom features a double-sized shower. Finally, at ground level, you’ll find a well-sized pool with a whirlpool hot tub and plenty of loungers. It’s situated in a secluded garden filled with tropical plants (and the occasional hummingbird!). It's rarely used and offers a calm place to relax and unwind. The building dates from 2000 and its construction is of a higher quality than many recent developments. All water in the building is treated and filtered and safe to drink. The water/ice dispenser in the fridge offers an extra layer of filtration. The apartment was renovated in January 2024. Some fixtures and fittings are original, so there are a few quirks with how some things work (contact us if you need any guidance), but overall this is a well-maintained building and unit that offers much more space than is typical in Zona Romantica. Guest access This is a private apartment for your sole use. If you would like to request early check-in or late check-out, message us - we'll do it if we can. The pool and hot tub are in a garden that is shared with other residents, but this space is usually very quiet. Other things to note This apartment is our home in Puerto Vallarta so you should find it well equipped. If there is something we've missed, let us know and we'll do our best to help. If you would like cleaning during your stay, please make the request when booking and we can arrange this for an additional fee. Ensure that the terrace doors are closed when using the air conditioning. The system disconnects when the doors are open. Please note that there is some construction taking place behind the building. The apartment faces the opposite direction so does not impair the view from the terrace and any noise is blocked by the building itself. Construction hours are daytime so it should not affect sleeping hours. Please advise in case this is not observed.
