Historic Cabin - River/Mountain Views Near Laloma

The historic Hoover Cabin offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring a traditional log cabin design that exudes timeless appeal. The cabin comfortably accommodates 4 guests, making it an ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic escape, friends on an adventure, or a small family getaway. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is located in the Log Cabin Inn overlooking the beautiful McKenzie River just minutes from Loloma Lodge, Belknap hot springs, hiking trails and Tokatee Golf Club. The space Why TWO Front Doors? Originally, the cabin consisted of two separate units but has been transformed into a single 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Our cozy cabin consist of two bedrooms that can each accommodate 2 guests. Our primary bedroom features a large queen bed while the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed that when pulled out can sleep two as well. Our kitchen features all you need to cook a nice warm meal with a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all the kitchenware essentials. Our living room has a Smart TV for you to enjoy while relaxing as well as an electric fireplace for additional warmth and visual calmness. To the left of the kitchen is a short hallway that leads the the guest bathroom and the deck along with 4 fishing poles available to you in case you want to go fishing. NOTE - fishing down to the river is catch and release only. There is an area very close where you can catch trout. Our two bathrooms (one located in the primary bedroom and the other just behind the kitchen) are both full size for your comfort. Both consist of a standing shower with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel as well as a vanity with a full size mirror when you need to get ready for the day. Our screened in deck is perfect for you to take in all the fresh air that McKenzie Bridge offers. From the deck you can see and hear the McKenzie River flowing through while you sit on the rocking chair and relax. During the evening, the string lights will keep the deck lit and the electric patio heater can be turned on to keep the deck nice and warm on a cool night. For pet owners, a dog crate, dog bed, sofa cover, and dog bowls are available for your use so that your furry one can enjoy the cabin with you. Guest access The entire cabin is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. You will be provided with access instructions prior to arrival. One exception is the storage closet located near the front doors. ◈ Self check-in with smart lock ◈ Check-in: 4 PM ◈ Check-out: 11 AM We do not offer early check-ins or late check-outs as we need to ensure enough time for the home to be thoroughly cleaned between guests. Other things to note Other Things to Note Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. In order to accomplish this, we ask that all our guests read and follow our house rules. **Exterior cameras are present on the property** !!! INSECTS. Please be aware that as the cabin is located in a natural setting, it is common to encounter insects indoors. While we take measures to minimize their presence, we advise guests to close all doors and windows when not in use to prevent them from coming in. ✘ NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside the home. Smoking or vaping in the home will incur a $500 fine + $250 for additional cleaning + additional fines for any damages. ✘ NO USE OF LEGAL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY. If signs of legal or illegal drug use are found on the property, you will be charged a $500 fine + $350 for additional cleaning + additional fines for any damages. ✘ NO SHOES inside the home. Please be respectful and do not wear your outside shoes inside the house. Given the age of the cabin, I highly suggest bringing some slippers as the floors can be very cool during the winter and spring season. If any shoe prints and stains are found on the rugs, you will be charged and extra $200 cleaning fee. ✘ NO PARTIES, EVENTS, OR LARGE GATHERINGS of any kind allowed inside the home or on the property. Violation of this rule will be reported to AirBnB, will incur a $1000 fine, an automatic termination of your reservation, and you will be asked to leave the property immediately. • Please respect the neighbors and be mindful of your noise levels at all times. The home is in a residential area and quiet hours are in place between 10:00pm - 8:00am. Any fines related to noise will be passed onto the guest. ✘ NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED! We ask that you keep the occupancy to the registered guests only. Failure to adhere will lead to a fine of $300 for each unapproved guest. ✘ NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS. ‼ PETS: We are dog friendly and we allow a maximum of two dogs at the property at any given time. Dogs MUST BE house trained. Guests are responsible for picking up after their dogs and disposing of their pets' waste appropriately. If any pet waste is found on the property - inside or outside - you will be charged an additional cleaning of fee of $250 + additional fees for any damages caused by your dogs. ‼ The home is not childproof, and parents are responsible for the safety of children. ‼ While we strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we cannot be held responsible for any external factors that may affect your stay, such as power outages, weather conditions, or other unforeseeable events. We also cannot be held responsible for any disruptions caused by construction, traffic, or other events outside of our control. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience these external factors may cause and appreciate your understanding. ☛ Guests understand that during their stay there may be scheduled landscaping. While we will do our best to notify our guests in advance, there may be instances where workers arrive unannounced to perform their duties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing us to maintain our property for your enjoyment. ☛ Please adhere to check-in and check-out times. We generally do not offer late check-outs as we need to ensure enough time for the home to be thoroughly cleaned between guests. However, if you need a late check-out or if you need to extend your stay, please notify us *at least 24h* prior to your checkout and we will do our best to accommodate. We charge $50 per hour for late check-outs. After the second hour we will charge you a full night's stay. ☛ Upon check-out, please make sure no personal items are left behind, as we do not have the staff to manage sending forgotten items. However, in the event that a guest accidentally leaves behind personal belongings and contacts us, requesting their belongs to be shipped to them, the guest will be responsible to for the shipping costs. That includes the cost of packaging, postage, and any associated fees, plus an additional fee of $50 to cover the time required for someone to arrange the shipment.
