Charming home ready for fun and/or relaxation!

Enjoy our peaceful (pet friendly) home, at the end of a dead-end road & just a short walk to the center of Norfolk. Great for friends and/or family visits. Board games & puzzles inside; lawn games & fire pit outside. Front & back decks, including screened-in porch, are perfect for relaxing. Access great cafes, shops & cultural delights in Norfolk. The nearby Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate hosts Yale's Summer Chamber Music Concert series. It’s a home, not a hotel. But, we think you’ll love it! The space This newly renovated home has many modern conveniences in a beautifully simple Victorian era structure. Three bedrooms are ready for you: 1 king bed room, 1 queen-sized bed room, and 1 room with two twin-beds. Extra space is easily accessed through the futon in the office or available air mattress. Each of the three bedrooms has a small window air conditioner unit. :) The back deck has both an open and screened-in space that provide hours of enjoyment to all who visit. Play lawn games, or just watch the wildlife pass on through this unique property. Guest access We have a lockbox for the house key. We will share the code close in time to your arrival. Other things to note Laundry in the basement. There are 3 bedrooms, that sleep 6 easily. There is a full-size futon in the office that can sleep another 2. Please note there is no door to the office, so privacy of that space is limited. There is also a full size air mattress in the closet of bedroom 1 that can be fit onto the floor in bedroom 1 or 3, or in the living room. Each of the three bedrooms has a small window air conditioner unit installed. There are ceiling fans in each room, including the office and Living Room. Norfolk is the "ice box" of Connecticut, so it is always a few degrees cooler here than anywhere else in the region. We are a pet friendly house. There are pet dishes available, along with dog toys and a dog crate. There might also be dog dander or hair around. We try to keep it as clean as possible. But, if you are allergic to dogs, you might want to find another place to stay.
