Prime location within minutes of the Owners Club (free access) & Eagle Ridge Resort where you can enjoy all of their public amenities. From the inviting warmth of the interiors to the large, covered deck overlooking the open backyard and the hot tub on the patio, every feature of our rental promises a unique and unforgettable escape. The space The White Oak Cottage is conveniently located in the heart of the Territory, about a 2 minute drive to the Owners' Club Complex, where guests can enjoy the amenities free of charge. These include indoor and outdoor pools, indoor basketball court, tennis courts, fitness center, game room, craft room, meeting rooms, and an outdoor basketball court. Our cottage is only about a 15-minute drive to historic downtown Galena, and a 25-minute drive to Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort. This is the perfect spot to relax and take advantage of all the Galena area has to offer year-round, from golfing, boating on Lake Galena, visiting local wineries, ziplining, hot air balloon riding, horseback riding, boutique shopping, and enjoying the many restaurants and cafes in Galena. In the winter, there's easy access to ice skating, skiing, and other winter fun! The White Oak Cottage has plenty of room for family and friends to spread out over its three floors, two living rooms, and large open outdoor areas! SLEEPING: Indulge in a restful retreat with our well-appointed sleeping arrangements. The main floor boasts two inviting bedrooms, including a luxurious master suite with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom. Adjacent is a cozy room with a queen bed and a full bathroom nearby. Upstairs, discover a spacious bunk house with two sets of bunk beds, offering queen beds on the bottom and twin beds on top—a perfect sleepover haven for both kids and adults! You can also find a pack n play for your infant available for your use. Another room on this level features a king-size bed with a full bathroom down the hall. The lower level hosts a private room with a king-size bed and bathroom close by. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, ensuring personalized entertainment for all. ENTERTAINMENT: The White Oak Cottage offers a plethora of entertainment options for guests of all ages. Unwind in the cozy bunk house featuring a charming reading nook or gather in the main living area equipped with board games, puzzles, and smart TVs, including a Retro Game Console and PlayStation 3 with a variety of games. Whether you're enjoying the warmth of the gas fireplace, socializing at the spacious bar while watching the 85 inch TV, or soaking in the private hot tub on the back patio, which includes a large outdoor gas grill with side burner, every corner is designed for relaxation and enjoyment. The large, covered deck with an expansive outdoor dining set, front porch, and the vast open backyard that seamlessly connects to the Territories walking trails provide ample spaces to create cherished moments, complemented by an outdoor fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. OTHER AMENITIES: Enjoy the convenience of speedy internet throughout the cottage, ensuring seamless connectivity for work or leisure. Our thoughtfully equipped full-size laundry room with washer and dryer allows for stress-free laundry days. We've taken care of the little details, providing basic necessities such as coffee, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, and basic toiletries, ensuring your stay is not only comfortable but also worry-free. The well-stocked kitchen is a culinary haven, ready for your culinary adventures with all the essentials at your fingertips. Your beds will be ready and waiting for you with clean, cozy linens. The White Oak Cottage offers 6 Proximity Cards for guests' use of the Galena Territory Association facilities. Additional day passes can be purchased for $5 per day at the Owners Club Complex. Guest access *Please note: There is one step to the front porch and one step to enter the cottage. As this is a three-level home, there are also two flights of carpeted stairs inside the home. There are also stairs off the covered deck taking you down to the back patio and large flat backyard. *Parking: The White Oak Cottage offers ample parking on its paved driveway. Six cars can comfortably fit in the driveway. No parking is allowed in the cul-de-sac. Other things to note The White Oak Cottage is set to accommodate groups of up to 12.
