The Dower House at Solsgirth was was traditionally intended for the widow of the estate owner to move into when the next generation took over the estate. It ​is now a luxury home, on our estate and sleeps up to four guests. High ceilings, quirky features and a wood burner make for a luxurious, cosy stay. Located on the ground floor, there is space for relaxing indoors and out. Outside you will find plenty of parking space, a secluded garden with hot tub and amazing views to the Ochils. The space The Dower House at Solsgirth Home Farm is a luxury home on a country estate, sleeping up to four guests. Located on the ground floor, there is space for relaxing indoors and out, with its own private garden, and access to footpaths around the working farm, which features rhea, emu and llama, as well as traditional pig, cattle and sheep breeds. A short drive away are fantastic walks in the hills or along the coast, with several Scottish cities within one hour’s drive. Guest access Guests will have access to their own parking space, a secluded garden with hot tub and amazing views to the Ochils. Other things to note IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ Please be aware that we run a Farmers Market on the second weekend of every month (except January). See markets page on our website for details. Although this is a great weekend with artisan food, drink and craft stalls there is a high volume of traffic and people over both Saturday and Sunday, between 10am – 4pm.
