Designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, this spacious cabin is your perfect base for exploring the natural wonders of the region. Located near Zion and Bryce, with the Virgin River running right through the property. Watch the wildlife, soak in the hot tub, cold plunge in the river, or relax in the sauna. Proximity to Attractions: Blue Jay at Zen Zion is strategically situated to offer easy access to some of Utah’s most iconic destinations: • Zion National Park: A short drive away, explore the majestic canyons and trails that make this park a must-visit. • Bryce Canyon National Park: Experience the unique hoodoos and stunning vistas that define this natural wonder. • Local Dining and Shopping: Discover charming local eateries and shops in Glendale and the nearby towns of Orderville and Kanab to enrich your stay. BRAND NEW central AC installed 7/30/24! Blue Jay is the second cabin you will see when you enter this amazing property. This cabin sleeps 10 easily (12 if you have some little ones who fit on the trundle beds) and has everything you need to feel right at home. Upon entering the cabin you will find a spacious and open living room with a gas fireplace, couches and chairs, and a TV. The perfect space for relaxing! The kitchen is open to the living room and is fully stocked, with full appliances, dishes, pots and pans, everything you need to cook up your favorite meals! The laundry closet in the hallway has a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience. Down the hall you will find the master bedroom with a king sized bed, a sofa bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 2 features another queen sized bed, and the bunkroom holds 2 sets of bunkbeds as well as 2 trundle beds! *Trundle beds are only suitable for small children*. There is another full bathroom in this cabin with a tub/shower combo. The Blue Jay is comfortable and tasteful, but if you prefer to be outside, we don't blame you! Make yourself at home on the patio, grill dinner, and listen to the birds, the river, and maybe even see some deer or wild turkeys! Take a walk down to the river and just enjoy the scenery! The outdoor pavilion and hot tub is for you to use and enjoy, but is shared among all of the units at Zen Zion so please be considerate of other guests. Zen Zion offers privacy, seclusion, convenience, and comfort. Guest access You will receive the door code prior to your reservation. Please pull all the way around to the back side of the cabin. You can park two vehicles end to end back there and keep the turn around open for other guests to turn around in if necessary. You may use the same code to enter and exit through the back door of the cabin. Other things to note Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. Zen Zion is a little slice of heaven where you can relax surrounded by nature. There is also a lot of fresh water on the property, so you may encounter bugs, mice, and other critters during your stay. Please understand that while we do our very best to keep them under control, we can't eliminate their presence entirely. Please note there is not good cell service on the property, but the wifi is fantastic! Simply make sure your cell phone is set to allow wifi calls and texts and you will have no problems! Zen Zion is over 5 acres of land with 5 units available to be rented individually, altogether, or a combination of the ones that fit your needs. Please note, if you have not booked the entire property (all 5 units), other guests will be coming and going and sharing the pavilion, lawn, and space along the river with you, so please be respectful and kind to the other people you may rub shoulders with while here. The driveway in and out has one large loop around the pavilion, and a small turnaround at the Southeast end. Please park your vehicles near your unit, leaving room for oher guests to enter and exit the property. If you have large trailers or extra vehicles, please park them in the field just to the left after you enter, behind the large dumpster. Our pet policy is as follows: We allow responsible pet owners to bring their dog companions. There is not a fence on property, so please keep pets outside only on leash. Please make sure your dog is flea-free before arrival. Please pick up after your pets around the property. Do not leave dogs unattended inside barking and scratching at doors. If you bring a kennel and they are used to that for short periods, that is fine. Do not allow dogs on furniture (beds, chairs, sofas) unless you have your own pet blanket that they will sit or rest on. Our pet fee does not include coverage for damages. If there are incidents (complaints from neighbors, or damages to property) there is a $200 minimum charge, with total to be determined by professional assessment for repairs/replacement. We love dogs, and have one of our own. Most of the time there is no problem, but we've found it's best to be up front with the policy and expectation.
