Conveniently located on the edge of Hayward, this cozy home sits just across the street from the beautiful Hayward Golf Course—and as a special bonus, your stay includes one free round of golf per day at Hayward Golf Course! The space Enjoy easy access to everything Hayward has to offer. The property is right near the walking and biking path and just a short stroll to downtown Main Street, where you’ll find charming shops, great restaurants, & local bars. Outdoor adventures like skiing, snowshoeing, biking & hiking trails are only a few minutes away by car. You will also enjoy close proximity to local lakes, ATV trails & snowmobile trails. Inside, the Cottage is warm, bright, and inviting, with large windows that fill the space with natural light. The spacious kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a central island, making it perfect for preparing meals. The living and dining areas overlook the golf course and provide beautiful sunset views. There are two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen-sized bed and ample closet space. The main bathroom includes a newly installed stand up shower, a large counter, and a single sink. The second bathroom offers a stand-up shower and a compact sink. A washer and dryer are available for your use—just bring your own detergent. Step outside to enjoy the private patio with a firepit and gas grill, accessible through the garage. Or, relax on the covered front porch and take in the sunrise or sunset. The Golf Cottage comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: High-speed WiFi and TV with streaming services Movies, games, and kitchen essentials (dishes, silverware, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, etc.) Bathroom and kitchen towels Fresh linens, comforters, and extra blankets for all beds Whether you're here to golf, explore, or unwind, The Golf Cottage offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience in the heart of Hayward. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and front and back yards. The back patio can be accessed through the kitchen to the breezeway and through the garage. Other things to note For more fun in the area, try floating or kayaking down the Namekagon River, check out a famous lumberjack show, shop at one of our downtown festivals in the in the summer or fall, a concert at The Park Center or come to experience the American Birkebeiner! Please note: This cottage is owner operated. Pricing includes state and county lodging tax, as well as sales tax. Please be aware of constantly changing rates that are based on demand for accommodations. FAQs: Q: Can we check-in early or check-out late? A: It depends. Check-in is at 3pm and can accommodate earlier if the cleaning is ready. Q: Is there WiFi and is it any good? A: Yes. It gets about 80 mbps enough to stream movies, work remotely, and hook up to couple of devices. Q: Is there cable TV? A: No. There is a smart TV though. (Please log in to your favorite streaming services. Just remember to log out before you leave.) Q: Do we provide firewood? A: No, firewood can be purchased at several local convenience and grocery stores for approx. $5 per bundle. Q: Is the water safe to drink? A: Yes, we are on our municipal water and sewer. Q: Are pets allowed? A: Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Q: Do I have to clean up before I check-out? A: You certainly don't have to do anything at all if you don't want to. We would appreciate you balling up the linens on the bed and putting towels in a pile in the bathroom. Q: Are there ATV/Snowmobile trails close by? A: Yes. ATV/UTV's are legal on City Streets so right out the front door. Hwy 63 is off limits. Please review City Ordinance No. 552. You are just minutes from snowmobile trails.
