Wake up to the beautiful sunrises while enjoying your coffee on our back deck coffee bar with wildlife views of our slough. Relax with your favorite beverage as you enjoy the sunsets and ocean breezes in the evenings from our main floor wrap around deck or our second-floor deck with views of the water. Ample windows throughout the house let the light pour in. The house has two distinct living rooms so you won’t feel on top of one another and can get some separation from the kids. The upstairs living room has two couches, one of which is a pull out, a wine fridge and wet bar, a foosball table, art easel, coloring table and DVD player with DVDs. The first floor living room is set up as an open concept to the dining room and kitchen, with a large smart TV, a sectional couch, blankets and pillows it is set up for comfort. You'll love hanging out on the ground floor, relaxing at the tiki bar, on the hammocks, on the chair swing overlooking the slough or in one of the many lounge chairs. Come enjoy a week long relaxing family getaway our home! We have stocked the house with all the basics (including beach parking pass) to make the trip easier for our guests. We have a high chair, pack-n-play, baby bath items, kid books and board games. In the ground floor closet under the stairs, we have plenty of kid beach toys. 2 covered decks, a tiki bar, an outdoor coffee bar and a ground level where outdoor games can be played. The house has 5 smart TVs so you can log in to your desired applications or cast from a smart device. There are also over 1,000 free channels via the Samsung TV app. We have provided bath towels located in all the bathrooms including black towels for makeup removal. There are beach towels available by the front door for your use. The coffee maker can brew a pot of coffee or individual cups. Coffee is located next to coffee maker. We have also provided a variety of tea in drawer next to coffee maker. The tea kettle is located on the stove. The house has a stacked washer/dryer and we provide everything needed to run a load of laundry. There is an outdoor shower and sink to rinse off after returning from the beach. Feel free to also use the hose as necessary. There are hose hookups on each level. There is also a charcoal grill outside for your use on lower level only. Crystal Beach is known for finding large seashells, polished sea glass and depending on conditions you may even catch a glimpse of bioluminescent algae in the surf! Fishing from the beach is allowed so you can either partake, or make sure you set up 50 yards away. There is plenty of space on our beach! Local attractions: In addition to the beach, there is small water park called “Fun town”, a miniature golf course called “The Gulf Range”, a water slide at “Fun Spot” and a Margaritaville on the island that has a restaurant and swim up bar. You can rent a golf cart from one of many local rental companies. The Big Store is a full grocery store and also has beach wear for anything that may have been forgotten. Restaurants: The Stingaree, Nauti Beaver Hut, Fins Bar and Grill (Margaritaville), Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp, Danay’s Donuts. The island has lots of options if you don’t want to cook! The space: The home was built in 2023. 1,800 sqft home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. There are two master suites, a large bunk room and a pocket bunk room. Each room has USB ports in the outlets to charge your devices! We also have a large dining table, two distinct living rooms for comfort and a picnic table on our main deck. There is plenty of outdoor furniture including tall POLYWOOD seats for lounging. KITCHEN: The kitchen has brand new appliances and a built-in breakfast bar. Fully equipped for cooking family meals. Brand new pots, pans, dishes, utensils and kid place settings. There is a Keurig that makes both individual K-Cups or a full pot of coffee. LIVING ROOM: There are two distinct living rooms, one downstairs, one upstairs. Downstairs is open concept to the dining room and kitchen. It has a large smart TV, a sectional couch, blankets and pillows for comfort. The upstairs living room has a large smart TV, two couches, one of which is also a pull-out sleeper sofa that sleeps 2 guests, a foosball table, an art easel and a coloring table. There is a wine fridge and wet bar as well as a second story deck. There are DVDs and plenty of board games under the TV. DINING ROOM: The dining room is open and the beautiful large dining table seats up to 8 people. BEDROOM #1: The upstairs master bedroom has a built-in king-size bed, mounted smart TV, ceiling fan and two night stands. The upstairs master bathroom has a walk-in shower, water closet and his and her vanities. BEDROOM #2: The downstairs master bedroom has a built-in king-size bed, mounted smart TV, ceiling fan and two night stands. The downstairs master bathroom has a walk-in shower. BEDROOM #3: The 3rd bedroom bunk room. The built in bunks consist of two queens and two separate extra long twins. Each bed has its own reading light and charging station with USB ports. There is a mounted smart TV and a mounted enclosed fan. BEDROOM #4: The 4th bedroom is a pocket bunkroom with two extra long twins. The views from this bedroom overlook the second story deck and have some of the best views in the house. Guest access Guest access Access is provided to the entire house save for locked owner closets and the garage. Check-in instructions will be sent 24 hours prior to check-in. A code to the keybox will be provided at that time. Check-in is contactless. Other things to note **Read carefully before deciding to book this property. By booking this property you agree to these rules.** Must be 23 yrs old to book. NO pets allowed. You will be charged $500 plus extra cleaning fees if you bring a pet. This is for the benefit of all guests so that anyone with animal allergies can be confident they will be safe and comfortable staying in the house. NO PARTIES (includes prom and graduation parties) or EVENTS ALLOWED, max occupancy of 14 must be observed at all times. Absolutely NO smoking ANY substances in the house. Absolutely no fires, including candles. Unauthorized smoking or fires will be charged the full deposit hold amount plus damages and extra cleaning fees - including but not limited to smoke damage or odors. You will be required to sign a rental agreement after booking. It is the booking guest’s responsibility to get all other guests to read and agree to follow the rules of the rental agreement. *No refunds for weather/ natural disasters/ power outages/ noise/ other things that are beyond our control.* It is highly recommended that you purchase an inexpensive travel insurance policy. This gives you peace of mind in the event you have unforeseen circumstances that require you to cancel outside of the refund window on our cancellation policy. Please review, we have our policy set to "strict." Notice of Cameras: There is a security camera under the house to ensure safety and security at the property. There are absolutely no cameras inside the house. There is a charcoal grill available, so don’t forget to grab some charcoal! The coffee maker is a dual type, both regular drip and pods. Located across the ferry from Galveston, TX There is parking available in the driveway for up to 5 vehicles. No parking in street or under the stilts. We will have beach towels and beach toys available but we do not supply beach chairs or umbrellas. A security deposit HOLD of $1000 will be placed on the credit card you use to make the reservation 2 days prior to your reservation date. This is NOT a charge, just a HOLD. It will be released after we have had a chance to inspect the property or within 7 days after your reservation ends, minus any damages found. As per our rental agreement, any amenity that may become unavailable during your stay will not warrant any type of refund. PROTECT YOUR VACATION WITH TRAVEL INSURANCE!
