Casa Palmera Sonoma offers exceptional indoor/outdoor living. Our renovated 3 bedroom/3 bathroom 100-year-old farmhouse offers clean, modern amenities in a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that looks out onto an expansive outdoor area (including in-ground pool & hot tub) that offers you the ultimate in relaxation and recreation! The space Casa Palmera Sonoma is a private 3 bedroom + 3 bathroom home that sits on a 2+ acre rural parcel in a beautiful area just a tad south of Sonoma city limits. Your rental house features an expansive, fully enclosed, fenced yard with exclusive use of pool and hot tub and all household amenities. Owners live on the property as well, but in a small house in the back of property. (Only the entry driveway is shared with Owners.) Guests have their own parking area – conveniently located next to Casa Palmera's main entrance and adjacent to the raised bed veggie / floral garden. Gardening & pool services are included, as are utilities. House is fully set up for comfortable, long-term stays of 31 days or longer. (Note: no taxes!) Guest access Guests have private parking and a private entrance into Casa Palmera. As a "flag lot", the house and fenced yard offer exceptional privacy in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Entire home and outdoor space – including deck, pool, hot tub, lawn, loungers and pond area are exclusively for guests to enjoy. There is also a separate bike room stocked with additional items for guests to enjoy: bikes, hammock, pool toys, bocce, croquet, etc. Other things to note Casa Palmera Sonoma is a unique gem of a property and a wonderful retreat. We pride ourselves in offering you a clean, beautiful and a happy environment. This rental is not for everyone, however. For starters, the pool, hot tub and pond feature water hazards for children. (Pool area does have "baby proof" fencing available and the gate to pond area can be closed, but pond itself remains uncovered.) The pool and hot tub also sit very close to the main house. Pool is unheated; hot tub is available for use year-round. The house itself has stairs and multiple levels. Only the deck, kitchen and great room are on a single level. Casa Palmera has radiant floor heat in the great room that is on an automatic timer. Bedrooms & bathrooms offer heating as well. While there are portable fans available, there is no air-conditioning within the house. Fear not! Sonoma cools down nicely in the evenings – even during the summer months. So even during very hot spells, we have found the house stays remarkably cool if you close the windows during the day, but open them up at night. The maximum number of overnight guests is limited to 6 adults. Large parties are strictly not allowed on the property. Our home is in a very quiet neighborhood and we love our neighbors and want to keep them happy! Can you frolic in the pool, play music and host small, al fresco dinner parties? Of course! We just ask that you enjoy the house respectfully. Please note: guests will be asked to sign a separate rental agreement and submit a form of ID to finalize booking.
