If you decide to bring your own boat, or rent a different one, you are able to tie off on the sides of the U-shaped dock with the available cleats. The flat yard provides ample space for outdoor games and running around with the 15-foot-tall lighthouse in this picture-worthy backdrop. Rest easy in one of 2 king beds or single queen bed, with a twin over full bunkbed available for additional sleeping space. Other amenities include a well-appointed office, board games for family fun, and keyless entry for hassle-free arrivals. The game room is located in a detached shed just steps from the main house, offering a fun, tucked-away hangout space. *Please note this area does not have electricity or climate control, but it offers a simple, casual spot to enjoy games.* Situated on the main channel of Lake Norman, our home offers endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, from water sports to hiking trails at nearby Lake Norman State Park. You will receive a unique keypad access code prior to arrival that remains active for your entire stay. The home, private yard, and dock are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. • PARKING: Driveway parking is available for up to 4 vehicles maximum. • TRAILERS & BOATS: There is space in the driveway to park a boat/jet ski trailer. Other things to note ⚓ DOCK & LAKE FAQ • Dock and water: Typical Summer (~8+ ft depth) Winter (~6+ ft). Ideal for swimming, fishing, and tying off pontoon or ski boats. • Boat rentals: Boat rentals are available through Lake Girl Boat Rentals on Lake Norman. Contact info and booking recommendations are sent automatically once you book. • Boat lift: The lift and covered slip is not available for boat docking - but there are cleats on the sides of the dock for use to tie up. • Life jackets: We provide some universal life jackets and 2 kayaks. Please bring properly fitted USCG-approved vests for young children. 🕸️ Spider webs outside? We de-web and treat docks and porches regularly, but spiders can rebuild a web in just 30–60 minutes. Lake life! ⏰ Can I check in early or check out late? We already offer THE most favorable check-in/out times compared to other local companies. We follow our standard times to allow for proper cleaning. Requests may be available during the off-season, or if it's not a same day turnaround. 🔥 Is firewood provided? No—but local grocery stores sell bundles right out front. Grab a lighter too, as they tend to disappear and we don’t stock them (liability). Violations are subject to a $250 fine. - We strictly enforce occupancy and noise limits, as the county can shut us down. Fines starting at $250 and up to $10,000 per violation, with the right to evict all occupants with no refunds. - Government-issued ID and a security deposit, when required, will be requested after booking. - Any form of credit card fraud will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent.
