Semi-rural setting 5 min to UNC-A & Botanical Gardens, 6 min to Grove Park Inn with public golfing, 10 min to downtown Asheville, 10 min to Weaverville, 15 min to Parkway and world-renowned hiking trails. Spa-like shower, luxurious king bed, Egyptian cotton bedding . Electric fireplace, streaming channels on tv, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. The space A Cut Above! New construction, professionally designed, with solar energy! This listing is on one of the most popular cycling roads! (Not for amateurs!) Follow the road to the intersection of The Blue Ridge Parkway where you will find several easy to moderate hiking trails. Less than two miles away is The Grove Park Inn, where the beautiful golf course is public, there are delicious restaurants, and you can have a glass of wine or a cocktail on one of the best sunset verandas in Asheville! Downtown and great breweries and restaurants are a 10 minute drive. Relax with a tray of coffee and pastries on the handmade teak settee or hammock in the small private garden before you head out to enjoy the area. If you spend the day tubing on The French Broad or Green River, there's a retractable clothesline for your wet bathing suits and towels. If you find yourself with down time, check out the board games or study the books and maps describing local trails and attractions. If you aren't comfortable parking by the road, feel free to pull up the driveway. please pull as far forward as possible, and as far to the right as is comfortable. Never leave food in your car always lock it. The bears have been known to figure out how to open cars and sometimes get stuck inside. That's not good for the bear or your car! This is my private space. Other things to note I have a cat. It isn't allowed in the guest space, but sometimes he's sneaky. If you are allergic, please be aware that a cat has been in this space.
