This cozy cabin is an idyllic retreat! With its riverside location on the Spring River in historic downtown Hardy guests can explore the local shops, restaurants and attractions while also enjoying water activities such as fishing, kayaking or simply soaking in the sun. Outfitted with modern conveniences, such as smart tv's and WiFi, guests can stay connected and entertained, making it the perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and create lasting memories by the riverside. The space The BNSF Railway runs through Hardy right behind Main Street on a regular schedule. The tracks are between Main street and the street the cabin is on. The sounding of horns as they approach the intersection and pass through may startle those that are unfamiliar with the train route. Those accustomed to it are unphased. There can be some vibration since the cabins in the area are on stilts due to the proximity of the tracks. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the owner's closet. There is a shared boat ramp for residents for easy access into the river. The ramp is one cabin over. Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin. Other things to note The upstairs loft can get warm during the peak summer months so the keep the air flowing we like to keep the two ceiling fans going. Each fan is operated on its own remote. The remote controls the lights and the fan speeds. The remote for the fan above the beds is Located on the chest of drawers and the remote for the fan above the seating area is located on the interior half wall. There are air vents that send AC up there but the fans help circulate. Keeping the living area fan on is also a good idea. There is a dog bed provided and is kept at the top landing of the stairs. Feel free to move it to where you need it for those who are traveling with your pets. There are also treats available on the shelf by the front door. We provide black make up wash cloths for those who need to remove their make up. Please be mindful that we strive to keep our white towels as white and clean as possible, therefore, any makeup removal or things that could possibly stain our white towels we ask that you please use the black cloths provided.
