The River View Cabin

Welcome to the River View Cabin! This relaxing, rustic cabin is located next to the Ohio River on 5 acres of land just between Louisville and Elizabethtown, Kentucky. This peaceful getaway offers views of the river while lounging on the spacious, covered front porch. Enjoy nature in a private setting, but only minutes away from restaurants and a short drive to downtown Louisville and numerous distilleries. The space This rustic log cabin features several updated modern touches along with new furniture and plenty of outdoor space. Enjoy a good nights sleep in one of the two bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and walk-in shower. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed with a full bath located just outside the bedroom in the hallway. Both porches feature new furniture with a relaxing front porch swing. In the evenings, cozy up by the fire pit. We will provide firewood for this. The kitchen has filtered water and ice through the refrigerator. A Keurig coffee pot is available on the counter along with K-cups, creamer, sweeteners, and tea. For those that like lots of coffee in the morning, a full size coffee pot is available in the cabinet. A blender and toaster are available for your use, as well as numerous pots and pans for you to use as well. Paper towels, dish towels, dish soap, Ziploc bags, salt, pepper, basic spices and cooking oil are available in the cabinets. The TV is connected to the internet and you can log in to your own streaming platforms at your leisure. The WiFi information is available upon check-in. A washer and dryer are there if you need them, along with washing pods to use. Each full bath is equipped with dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Makeup wipes are available as well as cotton pads, cotton swabs, and feminine products. The house has a tankless hot water heater so there is plenty of hot water, but please be patient as it may take a few minutes to reach temperature. Other things to note The property is located off a rural road so please keep your speed under 35mph on that road. Once entering the property, the speed limit on the gravel driveway is 15mph or under. This is a shared driveway so please be respectful of oncoming cars. This property is located on 5 acres and is bordered by a working farm. An aerial map is located inside the manual to show you the property boundaries. Please make note of private driveway signs posted on the property line so you do not trespass on the neighboring properties. Animals/Pests: You are in the middle of a working farm and next to a river. While we have the house treated regularly by a professional, pests may make their way into the house (ladybugs, stink bugs, flies, etc). There may also be other animals that appear outside on the property such as deer, raccoons, possums, squirrels, mice, etc. Money will not be refunded if any of these are seen on the property. **Must be at least 25yo to rent this property and verify with an ID.**
