Welcome to Two Medicine Woman Home featuring Native American art, history, reading materials, and artifacts throughout, most of them originating from family roots. Two Medicine Woman Home has three bedrooms and one bathroom on the main level of the home with a large private yard situated at the end of a quiet street. The house is only two blocks away from a paved bike/walking/running trail that spans for miles throughout Rapid City and centrally located to many Black Hills attractions. The space The owner of this home is passionate about sharing her culture and history, which is reflected in the furnishings, decorations, and materials used throughout the property. The house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to learn more about the history of the American Indian tribes of South Dakota. Guest access The guests will have access to the main level of the home which includes the living room, kitchen, and dining room, as well as 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The home is an upper/lower duplex. The guests have access to the upper or main level of the home, but not the lower level. Each of the bedrooms can be locked during and throughout your stay if needed or desired. Please ask for instructions on this. Other things to note The home is equipped with an ROI water system with reverse osmosis. Additionally, our showering products (shampoo, condition, and soap) are all non-toxic. We work to keep the home as chemical free as possible. We additionally have a portable ramp that could be set up to gain access to the home without having to manage the exterior stairs. However, once inside the home, we do not have additional ADA accommodations. Please message the host if this needs to be set up upon arrival.
