Welcome to Bigfoot’s Bunkhouse! This dog friendly rustic refuge is the perfect location for enjoying the charm of the Lincoln National forest without missing the goings on of main street Cloudcroft! Whether you fancy a short drive to picturesque White Sands NP , using our paddles and playing pickleball, hiking, or if you simply prefer to let the good times roll (with Cloudcroft Brewery a 5 minute walk away) Enjoy the enchantment of the mystical forest dweller with fun books, artwork, mugs, etc! We do require a small pet fee Please agree to the following before bringing a dog. - We love our dogs. But even the best dog can have accidents in a new environment! Please be mindful of this and it’s strongly preferred not to leave your pet unattended in the cabin for any period of time -Dogs are not permitted on the beds or on furniture. We want to keep the beds and couches in good condition for all guests! -Please pick up and dispose of your dogs waste Bigfoot’s Bunkhouse is a cozy cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood within the Village of Cloudcroft and is walking distance to Zenith Park, restaurants and shopping. With being so close to town it is extremely rare to have any difficulty accessing the property in winter months. We have a fireplace with a fireplace insert to enjoy. We know you have been traveling and may arrive late into town! We will have a welcome basket replete with goodies, coffee, tea, and bottled water always on hand! Once you’re settled be sure to flip on the smart tv and stream your favorite show while you relax and plan your next move! We provide paddles and balls to use for pickleball! The courts are just down the hill in Zenith park We have an outdoor seating area out front where you can enjoy the warm sun and cool breeze. Bigfoot’s Bunkhouse sleeps four comfortably with a queen bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living area. Bed and bath linens are provided and are immaculately cleaned with high end natural cleaning products for each and every new guest. The full bathroom has been recently remodeled and as courtesy to our guests shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. It has the number 17 by the door. There is a metal bigfoot cutout and a bigfoot crossing sign hanging from the entryway. There is a small picnic space next to the parking spots with a bench and a outdoor park picnic grill. This is a shared space for the duplex. The firepit and picnic bench behind the cabin isn't on our property and is not available for use. Other things to note Wood burning fires are not allowed in the fireplace at this time, we have an electric fireplace insert to enjoy This is the mountains, weather is unpredictable, come prepared. We do not offer refunds due to mountain weather. While we try our best to keep the driveway clear after a snow storm, four wheel or all wheel drive may be needed for safe driving. There is a $25.00 per dog/per stay fee, that can be paid by payment app or cash on arrival. Please agree to the guidelines for bringing a dog. The dog must be 1 year old or older and house trained. 1. If left unattended we ask that you ensure your dog(s) won't be at risk of damaging any property inside and your dog(s) may not to be left out on the porch. 2. Please do not use the blankets provided as a covering over the furniture. It is hard to get pet hair out of blankets. 3. Pick up your dogs waste immediately after it's done and dispose of it in the dumpster outside on the corner. 4. Please let me know the size, breed, and age of your dog. 5. Please do not allow your pets to get on any of the furniture because even the best dogs can have accidents in unfamiliar situations. Also, please don’t use any of the provided blankets to try to cover the furniture because it’s very hard to get pet hair out of the fabric. 6. Please do not use the bathtub/ shower / sinks to bathe your dog
