Ask about our dog-friendly cabin: Skiers Right Lodge (sleeps 8, 2 dogs allowed, no pet fees). No A/C – Open windows + fans provided; cool mountain air year-round High elevation – Not recommended for guests with altitude or mobility concerns (multiple stairs) Rural area – Occasional power outages possible due to weather; usually short-lived Family-run cabin – We strive to provide an amazing experience, but please understand that staffing and repairs may be limited in our mountain location. This is not a hotel, it’s a private mountain home, curated with love. If you're looking for a fully staffed, commercial-style property, this may not be the best fit. If you’re looking for privacy, charm, wellness, and an unforgettable escape Guest access We are in a rural neighborhood with dirt roads once you turn off Hwy 9 for the next 2.4miles. We do have a steep driveway make sure you're driving the correct vehicle. 4x4 is encouraged year round but REQUIRED in the winter. PARKING: We only have space for 3 Vehicles max and there is no public lots near by large groups plan accordingly. It is illegal to park on county roads in our neighborhood. The driveway is shared between the two properties till the fork in the road. It's a .75 acre property or if you rent both properties for a larger party is 1.5 acres. Please do not go up the Skiers Right hillside or driveway unless you are renting both so that each guest can have their privacy. Keep in mind these two properties are close together and noise allotments should be respectful decibels and times. We are in a rural neighborhood with year round residents please be lawful of local laws and regulations and respectful of our neighbors. Other things to note Our property is our personal space that we feel honored to share with you. We do use a 3rd party insurance provider (Truvi) to cover our home in ways Airbnb Cover does not. It is at no additional cost to you but there is a form you will need to fill out that they will send you on our behalf. They will continue to contact you until the verification is complete and failure to complete this will void the reservation. Our Lodge is at VERY high elevation (11,000 ft), so if you have any issues with altitude please take that into consideration and drink plenty of our delicious mountain spring water! We do have stairs in the property one staircase is fairly steep. We do also provide baby gates for stair safety. 4x4 or AWD vehicle with snow tires or chains are REQUIRED during winter
