Perfectly situated in the middle of town near major Marfa attractions, MOTEL is a thoughtful, multi-year adobe renovation spearheaded by craftsman, Jantzen Matzdorff who is known for intentional restorations and putting his entire heart into his work. With design by renowned design firm McCray & Co., this is the latest in a series of successful projects together. They created this original boutique hotel almost exclusively with vintage and custom finishes while honoring the original structure. The space Permit: #S222 Room 3 is an artful 297-square-foot compact studio ideal for two guests, offering an overall inviting design. This room has a fun touch of space-age and psychedelic touches that make this room unique amongst the others. Well-lit at all times of the day, this room still provides a retreat from the sun with all modern amenities and thick adobe walls. The custom bed features a plush mattress bed and luxury sheets. The full bathroom is thoughtfully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash and the kitchenette is fully equipped with a mini-fridge, sink, toaster oven, hot plate, pour over coffee vessel and all of your kitchen essentials. A custom desk next to one of the large windows makes for a good remote work space or a place to work on that novel you’ve been putting off. The shared courtyard is decked out with a beautiful fountain, dedicated dining area for dining al fresco, and a large outdoor fireplace to unwind under the stars. A custom BBQ grill adds to the charm for guests looking to grill and gather. The private spa-like outdoor tub area "Oasis" is reservable via QR code and features a vintage clawfoot tub. The shared sauna and cold plunge offer a one-of-a-kind relaxation experience in Marfa. Guests also have access to high-speed internet and an EV charger located in the shared parking area—just bring your adapter to plug in with ease. 🐾 Bring Your Furry Sidekick! Got a four-legged travel buddy? Marfa MOTEL is pet-friendly! We welcome 1small pup (35 lbs or less) per stay. Guest access Plus, guests enjoy added value with a complimentary pool pass to the Saint George Hotel, perfect for a refreshing dip and a relaxing day in style. Each guest receives one pass per stay, valid for a single day only. Once used, the pass will be collected by the hotel and cannot be reused, even for longer reservations. While we're happy to provide this special perk, please note that pool access may be affected by maintenance, seasonal availability, or other factors beyond our control. ⭐Seasonal Pool Availability: Please note that the complimentary pool passes for the Saint George Hotel are unavailable during winter. The pool is only open seasonally. Other things to note 1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine) 2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance 3) No events or parties without event agreement. 4) Location release required for filming/photoshoots 5) Feel free to inquire about bringing your dogs along. We allow a maximum of one (1) small dog weighing 35 lbs or less. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted. There is a one-time pet cleaning fee of $85. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog so we can prepare the necessary cleaning supplies to eliminate allergens before the next guest arrives. If we do not receive notice at least 48 hours before your check-in, the fee will be $105. While staying with us, dogs must be crated when left alone, should not climb on furniture, and must not be left outside unattended. Owners are responsible for any damages caused. 6) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it 7) Minimum age requirement is 25 8) If you do not check out on time (10AM) you will be charged an additional night 9) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay
