The space If you love nature, peace, and quiet, you’ll adore Angled Pine. Guests often describe our A-frame cabin as peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by beautiful forest scenery. Relax on the swing or bench by Mountain Creek at the edge of the property, curl up in the hammock with a good book, or roast marshmallows and sip wine around the spacious fire pit area. The backyard deck features a Blackstone griddle and dining table, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. The cabin has 3 queen-size bedrooms and a full bathroom with a shower (no tub). • Downstairs bedroom: open to the living area, located behind the staircase (see pictures), no door or curtain. • Upstairs bedrooms: door at the top of the steep staircase; back bedroom is accessed through the front bedroom. Guests have found this layout comfortable and private. • Age restriction: Due to the steep staircase, we cannot accept children under 12 years of age (per insurance). • Pets: Not allowed due to severe allergies; plenty of pet-friendly rentals are nearby. Location: • Beside Michaux State Forest, just a few miles from Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Fuller Lake, Laurel Lake, Caledonia State Park, and the Appalachian Trail halfway point. • About 20 minutes to downtown Gettysburg, 30 minutes to Carlisle. • Ski Liberty Mountain: ~30 minutes; Ski Roundtop Mountain: ~50 minutes. • Hiking, mountain biking, ATV and snowmobile trails nearby. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire cabin and property, including the main living areas, large backyard decks for outdoor dining, the hammock, the fire pit for s’mores, and the swing and bench down by Mountain Creek. These spaces are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful, natural surroundings. Please note that we have full-time neighbors on our private road. We ask that guests respect quiet hours and the tranquility of the area. This property is not suitable for parties, fireworks, or disruptive gatherings. ** Due to the steep staircase, we cannot accept children under 12 years of age.
