It's set in a sunny, open meadow surrounded by woods with views of the Berkshire mountains. Walk down a grassy path to a pond complete with an ancient dock. For hiking, there's a spectacular park a mile down the road, Ooms Conservation. The space The guest cottage is set apart from the main house. It is very private . The kitchen is designed for people who love to cook with all new appliances including dishwasher, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Central AC and heat, WIFI. You also have an outdoor table with chairs to enjoy a meal, or sit in lounge chairs under an umbrella. Feel free to walk anywhere on the 9-acre grounds. We come up on the weekends and stay at the main house. Other things to note The property is 4 miles from town of Chatham with lovely restaurants, movie theater, brewery, coffee shops, book store and shopping. It is also conveniently within 25-35 min. of : Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow, Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, Berkshire Mountains, and Hudson (Amtrak).
