This listing includes all six cottages, accommodating up to 28 guests, making it the perfect destination for large groups who want to stay together while still enjoying the privacy of separate cottages. Each cottage has been thoughtfully updated with beautiful hickory hardwood floors, modern tiled bathrooms, comfortable furnishings, and a private deck complete with a grill—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Southwest Michigan. Outdoor Amenities Enjoy plenty of space to gather and make memories with: ● Fire pit for evening s’mores and conversation ● Two pergolas with porch swings ● Sand volleyball/badminton court ● Spacious outdoor gathering areas ● On-site parking Lake Access- Paw Paw Lake is located directly across the street from the property. While Herons Nest is not a waterfront property, guests can access the lake through a narrow public fire lane across the road. Please note that there is no private beach, dock, or designated lounging area at the lake access point. If you’re looking to spend the day swimming or relaxing on the beach, several public access areas are just a short drive away. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a family vacation, attending a nearby wedding, or simply looking for a peaceful escape, Herons Nest Boutique Cottages offers the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and the beauty of Paw Paw Lake. Book your stay today and experience everything Southwest Michigan has to offer! Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver. To ensure that all our guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask that you observe the following rules: 1. NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottages and within the building's premises. If you need to smoke, please do so outside the building, and dispose of your cigarette butts properly. 2. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS: Our cottage is located in a residential area, and we ask that you respect our neighbors' privacy and keep noise levels to a minimum. Please refrain from hosting parties or events that could disturb other guests or neighbors. 3. NO PETS: Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in our rental due to potential allergy concerns and damage to the property. 4. LATE CHECK-OUT ($50 Fee): Our check-out time is 11:00 AM. We kindly ask that you adhere to this time to ensure that our cleaning staff has sufficient time to prepare the cottages for the next guest. Late checkout past 11:00 AM will result in a $50 fee. 5. NO EXCESSIVE GUESTS ($50 Per Guest): The maximum number of guests allowed in the cottages is 28, including children. Excessive guests will result in a $50 fee per guest. 6. RESPECT THE PROPERTY: We kindly ask that you respect our home and its contents. Please refrain from moving or rearranging furniture and report any damage or issues to us immediately. 7. NO GLITTER: Please don’t use glitter for decorations or for any other reason. 8. We do have RING camera’s outdoors. Thank you for taking the time to review our house rules.
