Walking distance of the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead which is a 1 mile hike up to some of the most beautiful views and photographs in the world. The space This home is new construction with every window and door placed to capture the best views of the beautiful pond and mountains! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one that is an en-suite) with two desk/office spaces for remote work. Starlink internet provides amazing WiFi for all of your streaming devices and the open concept kitchen and living room are perfect for everyone to enjoy their time together. The large wrap around deck overlooks the pond and comes with furniture for you to enjoy a meal or your morning coffee. This home has a deluxe, tankless hot water heater to ensure hot showers after a day of mountain fun. A new 5 person hot tub and trees have just been installed! If you are visiting in October- May, we have one of the most accessible homes on the mountain to get to, but 4 wheel drive vehicles are needed due to the snow storms we can have. If you have dreamed of eloping, renewing your vows or celebrating your anniversary, we can also help you create a special day to remember at Chalet Auguste. We have faux cakes for rent or purchase that give you amazing photos without the huge bakery price tag. Guest access All accommodations are on the main floor of our home. The upstairs loft is unfinished and is locked. Our property is fenced so please feel free to enjoy our yard, deck and home! Other things to note Chalet Auguste is at 10,800 foot elevation. It is important to hydrate the day before you arrive and during your visit to avoid altitude sickness. We have county maintained roads but Four wheel drive vehicles are necessary October through May due to our snow storms.
