Built in 1914, it was once the home to hardworking railroad workers who played a crucial role in the history of our town. We have restored our home to have all amenities for today’s comforts while holding historic value by keeping the original flooring, footprint & old-world vibe. Perfect for couples or a kiddo or 2! It is located in a safe neighborhood close to restaurants, lakes & Whiskey Row! The space Experience our cozy Historic Railroad Bungalow in Prescott. We are a short walk to The Downtown Square, Courthouse, Restaurants, Shopping & The Iconic WHISKEY ROW. The Railroad Bungalow offers a cozy retreat for couples (or with a kiddo or two) offering a comfy Memory Foam King Size Bed with a small electric fire place for ambience, living space, kitchen, Laundry and a separate small Office space with Single Bed. The large private back yard backs up to a seasonal trickling creek & tons of mature trees with built in eating area. The front yard is just as spacious with a beautiful large green grassy lawn (seasonal) where the porch is a perfect place to have morning coffee or enjoy the sunsets and Prescott's outdoor life. We have many fruit trees on the property as well, please help yourself to them when they are ripe (summer and fall). Enjoy hiking, biking (we have two for your use), kayaking, fishing or a simple picnic at one of our beautiful lakes. Watson Lake, Lynx Lake, Willow, Granite and Gold Water Lakes are all within a 10 -15 minute drive. With over 470 miles of trails (maps at the home) you're bound to find something that fits your desires. Walk or ride to downtown restaurants, music, antique shops, art & Jewlrey exhibits, and WHISKEY ROW. All are close by and convenient to access with a 10-15 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Granite Creek Park, Kids Splash Pad & Whipple Park are all very close as well. Smoking & smoke of any kind, Pets & Parties Prohibited. The main room has a king size bed, loveseat, tv, eating area, desk/ workspace, eat in bar area and electric fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for meals. Oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, blender, etc. Bedroom #2 is the 1/2 bedroom. Small but cozy single bed, reading chair, closet and another desk. No door, but a privacy curtain. The bathroom has a unique penny floor, shower and bath essentials. Guest access The entire home is for your enjoyment! We have a keyless entry device so you may check in at your convenience after 3pm on the day of your check in. I always try to accommodate early checkins if possible. Parking is in our driveway. Other things to note Parking is off street Two bikes available for your enjoyment.
