This stunning 4-bedroom home is nestled in a gated community along the New River, one of the worlds oldest rivers, and one of the few rivers in North America that flows North! As you step inside, you'll be greeted by vaulted ceilings that create an airy and spacious ambiance throughout the home. The focal point of the living area is a magnificent ceiling-high stone fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings spent with loved ones. The spacious open floor plan flows seamlessly between the living room, dining area, and kitchen allowing friends and family ample space to spread out. Step outside onto the expansive deck, where you'll find ample space for outdoor gatherings and al fresco dining. The main level deck is complete with a multiple dining tables, a gas grill (propane provided) and a Blackstone flat top grill. The main level features three bedrooms, two with queen beds that share a full bathroom in the hallway, and the master suite with its own ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with a new flat screen TV, all of which include Hulu, Netflix, YouTube TV, ESPN+ and Disney+. Downstairs is another queen bedroom and full bathroom. Also downstairs you'll find that entertainment is never in short supply with a dedicated game room that features a Foosball table, a Pool Table, and an Air Hockey table! There is also a sleeper sofa on this level as well. The lower level patio area is home to the brand new 8-person hot tub with an adjacent outdoor TV, as well as a gas fire table. With its perfect blend of elegance and comfort, Whiskey River by the New offers a truly unparalleled vacationing experience, where every day feels like a retreat in paradise. Just a short drive away (5 minutes or less), you'll find a common area in the community which provides direct access to the New River. Please be respectful of other guests using this area. Driving directions to the common area will be provided a few days prior to your arrival. Nearby must see attractions include: New River State Park - hiking trails, fishing, swimming and more! (3 minutes away!) Ashe County Cheese - see cheese being made and enjoy delicious ice cream! (19 minutes away!) Molly Chomper Cidery (28 minutes away!) Ashe County Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am to 1pm from April to October! Mount Jefferson State Park - great place for family photos. Stunning views! (20 minutes away!) Additional Notes: - Please note the homeowners use exterior cameras located at the front entryway, the back door entryway, and the garage door. No other cameras are pointed at the home or at any of the common areas. - Repeat guests returning to Whiskey River by the New can receive a 5% discount not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The main road leading to this home is paved, but 4WD or AWD still may be necessary November-March. - Parking space for up to 8 vehicles • Check in is after 4pm • Checkout by 10am • This home allows 1 mature dogs that weighing 30lbs or less. Please be sure to list your pets, and it will be included in the total shown. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival • .Firewood may be purchased with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax. Firewood payment is collected through the Airbnb Resolution Center.
