Welcome to ✧Chateau de Corbeau✧, a large, amenity-packed, family vacation home that has something for everyone! Design was a priority in this 2020 remodel, with a gourmet kitchen, game room, 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, hot tub, and ample activities for entertainment. Surrounded by forest, this home is situated on a quiet street with full-time residents, so this home is best for families, and those wanting the quiet and tranquility of the High Sierras. Loud noise and parties are prohibited. The space This home has a maximum occupancy of 10 adults + 2 children over 5 years of age so 14 total (children under 5 years do not count in the total). The large family room offers ample lounge seating around a gas fireplace and a wide-screen TV. The separate sophisticated dining room seats 8 comfortably and has access to the outdoor grill; or guests can dine under the trees at the 8-seat teak table on the deck. ⦿ Kitchen The open floor-plan gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and well-suited for serving large groups. With all stainless appliances, a center butcher-block island, and extended counters and barstool seating that invites gatherings and informal dining around the kitchen. ⦿ Game Room A large game room located off the entry hallway has a large TV for movies and video games. Additional activities include air hockey, foosball, darts, cornhole, and board games. ⦿ Bedrooms Bedroom #1-Master suite is equipped with a king post bed, modern workspace, TV, and en-suite master bath (Jacuzzi tub, standing shower, and large walk-in closet). Bedroom #2 - Queen bed, workspace, and en-suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom #3 - Twin-over-full and Twin-over-twin bunk sets and is perfect for children. Bedroom #4 - Upstairs with a Queen bed. Bedroom #5 - Full-over-full bunk bed. Bedroom #6- Queen bed with deck access and a nearby full bathroom on ground level. ⦿ Shared Bathrooms The first floor has a half-bathroom and full bathroom with steam/shower. Upstairs is another 3 full bathrooms who of which are masters and then the last one is in the hallway for the rest of the guests to share. ⦿ The Outdoors The front has a wraparound porch with Adirondack seating. Parking for 4 vehicles and turf area. The back of the home has a forest setting with a large deck and hot tub. Sliding glass doors open to the deck that boasts an extra-large grill station with outdoor sink, 8-seat dining table, sectional and chez-lounge seating, and extra-large Jacuzzi tub. Other outside amenities include a volleyball/bad mitten court, ping-pong table, and spin bikes for further enjoyment and exercise. ⦿ Parking for up to 4 cars The house is permitted for 4 cars, which must be parked on the driveway pavement. There is no garage parking. The driveway is a bit steep and narrow and can be come icy in the Winter. You will need 4WD and snow tires. You may also need chains so please bring them. There is no street parking available so it's important you have the right vehicle to make it up the driveway. Message us if you have concerns or questions. Important Info → Our home is not pet friendly. → There is a gas firepit that has been disabled at the home and cannot be used by guests per local fire restrictions. → The 2 car portion of the garage has been converted into a large game room complete with air hockey, foosball, darts, etc. → The 1 car portion of the garage has been converted into owner storage and is not accessible to guests. Please keep kids out. → The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm. This is pretty strict per the county ordinance. → Like most homes in Tahoe, this home does NOT have AC. If coming during July or August, it can be in the mid 80s. We do provide fans. → This home has a steep driveway so in the snowy Winter months all vehicles will have to have 4WD AND SNOW TIRES to make it up the driveway since there is no street parking in Tahoe. → The total occupancy is just for adults and does not include children 5 & under so extra kids 5 & under are welcome. Just make sure there are enough beds for the kiddos! Guest access Our guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of a few locked owner closets and the locked off 3rd car garage. Please keep those areas locked at all times. Other things to note **FAMILY-OWNED** This home is owned by a family/private owner so you will be renting someone’s cared-for home with many special amenities, not an investment property. Contract During the booking process, you will be required to sign a rental agreement. Meet n Greet After you check yourself in and get settled, Nicole or Jagger will meet you at our home for a quick meet n greet which takes 5 minutes or less. We will be in touch on check in day to arrange the meeting. It's super quick and non-invasive :). ✧Vacation Rental Ordinance✧ Our guests must remain in compliance with El Dorado County's Vacation Rental Ordinance at all times. Please see the “Additional house rules” section for full ordinance. Failure to abide by any portion of the ordinance may result in permanent withholding of your $1,000 deposit and/or being asked to vacate the home.
