French Country Main&Guest House

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a view of the valley below. The 4,000 sq. ft. main house and its 500 sq. ft. guest house is nestled in the rolling wooded hills of Southern Indiana and is conveniently located off of route 46 only 5 miles from IU stadium and 9 miles from Nashville in Brown County. The idyllic setting is perfect to relax and reconnect with your family. Locally sourced handmade soap is supplied to our guests from the goat farm down the road. The space The French Country style house provides a tree top view of the valley below. The main house has many unique custom features that have been imported from Europe such as a Napoleonic era chandelier and an antique French dining table. The master suite is located on the main floor along with the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, powder room and large screened in porch. The lower level contains a second ensuite bedroom with a full bath, third bedroom and family room with French doors to the backyard. The newly renovated guest house is a stand alone structure next to the main house. The spacious bedroom and office area can be divided by pocket doors or left open. There is a custom designed private bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchenette is stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, dishes, snacks, s'mores caddy and water bottles. There is a coffee machine, fridge/freezer and microwave in the kitchenette. A toaster can be supplied upon request. The wrap around gravel driveway is large enough to accommodate many cars, boat trailer or U-haul vehicle. Guest access Guests will have free reign of the entire property except for the garage. Other things to note The main house has a combination lock box near the front door containing the key. The guest house can be accessed by keypad on the door.
