Four bedrooms, 3 baths, large outdoor hot tub, indoor Jacuzzi, TWO massive decks—one screened & covered with an adjacent open grilling deck and the other open covered deck with the outdoor hot tub, stone gas log FP, gourmet kitchen, two eating areas, large great room plus downstairs rec room, GARAGE parking for 2-3 cars. Lots of paved parking for multiple vehicles, bikes, or a bike trailer. Located 5 minutes from Townsend. On all paved roads. The space The cabin is located in a very quiet private area of Townsend just minutes from the main road through town. It’s a short 5 minute drive down to the Townsend Visitor’s Center where you will find great events year round such as the Townsend Balloon Festival, annual Ford Bronco rally, annual Jeep rally, the Bigfoot Festival, and many other wonderful experiences. No worry about the proverbial “cabins on top of cabins.” Nope, this lovely cabin is blissfully private! Comfortable sleeping for 12 (or 14 with an extra air mattress). * Primary BR - Main floor, queen bed plus queen sleeper sofa, private entrance to the huge screened upper deck, * Primary en suite bath, jetted Jacuzzi tub and an easy step-in shower * BR2 - Main floor, queen bed * Bath 2 - full bath with easy step-in shower, main floor, off great room *BR3 - Lower floor, large room with 2 queen beds *BR4 - Lower floor, two twin beds, outdoor access Bath 3 - Lower floor, easy walk-in shower Plenty of gathering space for your whole group: * Great room with gas log FP, also access to screened deck * Spacious dining room * Separate breakfast room * Well appointed kitchen, outfitted for all your gourmet cooking needs, drip coffee pot plus a Keurig * Upper deck - huge screened & covered deck plus open deck area for grilling * Lower deck - huge covered open deck with hot tub * Lower floor rec room area * Laundry room supplied with detergent & dryer sheets - no cost FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $50 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $50 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit. Common Concerns: *Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather. *TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. *Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors. *There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc. Guest access *Remote check in via door code provided approximately 7 days before your arrival *Check in AFTER 3pm (later is completely fine) *Check out BEFORE 10 am *You may check the day before your stay if your group would like to request early check in. If we don’t have guests checking out that morning, we may be able to accommodate your request. Other things to note Are there any bugs? -- This cabin is in the woods. That means we have invaded the territory of critters and bugs, not the other way around. We have regular pest control to help keep them out of the house. They do live in the woods. If you get freaked out by one spider or a dead roach, please do not stay here or anywhere in the Smokies for that matter. With the highly unlikely exception of a major infestation, no refund will be given if you encounter bugs or other critters.
