Telescope available upon request Additional Info: This is a well-maintained older home. As the second owners, we have made several updates while preserving its original charm. Windows: Only the bathroom, kitchen, and storm door windows open, as others are sealed to help manage the indoor climate. They can be opened in an emergency. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire home, along with the spacious front, back, and side yards — perfect for soaking up the peaceful, secluded setting. The garage is used for storage and remains locked, but there’s plenty of room to park, including a carport and a large unpaved circular drive for easy access. Depending on the time of year, you might spot farm animals in the nearby fields, and local wildlife is often seen around the property, adding to the natural charm of the area. We also have a few friendly outdoor cats who live in the shed — they may wander by to say hello! For evenings under the stars, a firepit and grill are available upon request, unless there’s a burn ban in effect. Other things to note Welcome to Our Rural Retreat! Our area is known for its wide-open spaces, breathtaking river views, and the natural peace and quiet that makes it so special. Whether you're here to unwind or explore, you'll find serenity in every corner. Plan Ahead: Since we’re a bit off the beaten path, we recommend bringing your groceries with you to make the most of your stay. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-size side-by-side refrigerator and plenty of cabinetry, offering ample storage for your essentials. Grocery Options: The nearest full grocery store is in Marshall, about 25 minutes away. If you're looking for something closer, Dollar General in St. Joe (just 4 miles from us) has a nice variety of goods, including food and personal care items. Nearby Attractions: We’re about 45 minutes from Harrison and just an hour and 15 minutes from Branson, Missouri, so there’s plenty to see and do nearby if you’re in the mood for a little adventure.
