Welcome to @dreamtimestays Hillside Cabin. A fantastic owner-renovated two-bed, two-bathroom Scandinavian-style cabin, tucked away on a 5+ acre property surrounded by nature on all sides. Under a 15-minute drive to Berkeley Springs, WV, find yourself in the town center with highly rated local restaurants & cafés, go hiking at Cacapon State Park, or visit Sleepy Creek Wildlife Mgmt. area near Hedgesville. The space AMENITIES YOU WILL LOVE Dreamtime Hillside Cabin is fully equipped to be your home away from home with a touch of luxury. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and of course, all you need for coffee & tea each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining table, or take it to the deck for an epic BBQ next to your private outdoor seating/dining table. This modern Scandinavian-style Cabin includes a flatscreen TV with Roku streaming apps (require guest login), Roku live TV, and WiFi. Gather around the wood stove next to a massive glass door and windows with a picturesque view. Bedrooms include a master with a king bed and one queen bed in the loft (for a total of four). With two full bathrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to keep up with daily routines. Upstairs, you'll find a cozy loft area complete with a comfortable queen bed and a convenient second full bathroom. Access to this space is via a unique set of stairs, which are a bit steeper than usual. While these stairs might not be the best option for elderly guests or young children to navigate independently, they can be safely used with a little extra caution. We recommend using the handrails while going up or down to ensure stability. Feel free to check out the pictures for more details! IMPORTANT: As for our natural surroundings, it's not uncommon to spot some friendly beetles, similar in appearance to ladybugs or stink bugs, near the sliding doors inside the cabin. We want to assure you that we have regular pest control measures in place, completely safe for both humans and pets, to keep bugs and flies at bay. Just a heads up, so you know what to expect during your stay. Stink bugs, in particular, look for a safe place during the fall season. Despite the pest control applications, we are still experiencing some stink bugs in the main cabin between late September and November. They are not harmful to humans; however are a nuisance. FAQs; Q: Do you ever host more than 4 people? A: We have a strict 4-guest max policy in this listing to ensure our guests have sufficient space and can make the best use of amenities. Q: Should we bring our firewood? Do you charge for it? A: We stock plenty of firewood during the winter and cooler times of the year from October to April, and you will have access to the entire stack during your stay. Just so you know, our listing pictures were taken in January'2024 right before we started hosting. Since then, the native meadow we've been trying to establish has grown and filled the field around the cabin and throughout the hill. Guest access Keyless Entry. We will message your unique entry code 3 days before arrival, along with our house manual and our recommendations for local eateries, hiking, kayaking, and so on. This listing gives you access to the main cabin shown in the pictures, and the entire 5+ acres of property except the small cabin that's located 50ft from the main cabin. During your stay, you will be the only guest staying at the entire property. Other things to note Our Wi-Fi is great for audio and video calls, streaming movies, and more. However, because of the hilly landscape, there might be occasional spots where the connection isn't as strong. We're a pet-friendly property and can accommodate a dog that's up to 50 lbs (see our house rules for further info). Please ensure your pet is added to your booking to account for the $100 per stay pet fee.
