From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel the warmth of radiant heated floors throughout the entire house, powerful air conditioning in every room, and a state-of-the-art 24/7 air filtration and circulation system that keeps the air fresh and healthy year-round. The open-plan living and dining area is bright and spacious – perfect for gathering after a day on the slopes or exploring the city. The fully equipped kitchen has everything the home chef needs: high-quality pots and pans, sharp knives, plenty of counter space, children’s plates and cups, and even a dedicated coffee & tea station stocked with both caffeinated and non-caffeinated options, electric kettle, and a selection of herbal teas. Families with babies or toddlers will feel especially taken care of: we provide child-sized bedding, booster seats, changing mat, diaper disposal bin, baby bathtub, gentle baby soaps and shampoos, toys, books, and a collection of toddler-friendly dishes and sippy cups. The entire home meets Japan’s highest earthquake-resistant and fire-safety standards, so you can relax completely knowing safety was never an afterthought. Built in 2013 on a 264-square-meter lot around a beautiful Japanese maple tree, our home is a unique and special place. You'll get the entire first floor to yourself. Though we're only 3 train stops away from Sapporo Station, we're located in a quieter part of town, which is perfect for those looking for some space to spread out and relax during their time in Sapporo. There are numerous stores and restaurants nearby, but the comfortable and spacious house might make it easier to stay in! :) We built this house for our private residence up to the highest standards, including insulation and earthquake safety. We live upstairs with our family of 4 and would love to share about our favorite spots to visit in Sapporo during your time here if you'd like. Guest access Guests have their own complete unit in the house. When you come in through your private entrance, you'll be welcomed into the spacious front hall. From there you have access to the Living/Dining/Kitchen space, the 3 bedrooms, the bath/shower, laundry space, and the restroom. Upon request, we can also provide a free pocket wifi to help you stay connected while you travel. You can check in at your convenience using the lockbox outside, and can come and go as you please. You'll also have access to your own covered parking space, as well as up to 2 other parking spots if needed. We've designed the house so that we can be completely out of the picture, but if you need us, we're also close by any time. Other things to note So far we're proud to boast a 100% Guest satisfaction rate. One of the challenges when choosing a place to stay on AirBNB is that you can't often tell how warm the house will be in the colder months, or how cool it will be in the hotter months. Since we designed this house to live in, we made sure it would be great all year-round and have air conditioners and heaters in every room. We've done our best to choose beds, futons, sheets, pillows, blankets, toiletries and convenience items like coffee and tea that we also love and use regularly during our daily lives. We hope you'll have a great experience staying here! We're located in a quiet residential neighborhood only minutes away from downtown and a variety of supermarkets, restaurants and convenience stores. We're not far from Teine Ski Resort (Including Kokusai) as well as a number of other ski resorts, which are easily accessible by car, train/shuttle. We do also offer bedding and the necessities for babies along with some toys too. There is a luggage scale available.
