We can not wait to host you here in the heart of Fort Lauderdale The space Our Sunset home was initially purchased to be a family's vacation home which is why you will feel a level of comfort not found anywhere else. The chosen mattresses and bedding are designed to provide you and your family a luxurious restful experience of relaxation. The home's fully open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living room being one big space makes for an endless combination of moments to be shared together accommodating each person's desired activity. The carefully planned layout of the house having designed bedrooms on different ends of the house adds a level of privacy and privileged sunlight or views of the canal reflecting the stunning sunset. As these areas are used by owner only. Please DO NOT attempt to open. Other things to note Welcome to our SUNSET HOME! Here are some house rules to ensure you have a wonderful and safe stay. RULES TOILETS Please ABSOLUTELY NO FLUSHING of anything down the toilets, not even paper. (Very sensitive plumbing) Subject to damage repair costs. OCCUPANCY Our Sunset Home comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests. No more! PARKING Space for 4 cars on the driveway. Street parking not permitted, subject to TOWING. ID & BOOKING MATCH The guest who books must be the guest who stays. We require ID for the guest booking and names of all guests over 18, along with acknowledgment of our house rules. Code is sent upon receival of these requirement. EVENTS Unregistered guests, parties, or events are NOT allowed. NOISE Quiet hours 10 pm- 8 am Enjoy your tunes, but keep the volume low and respectful. We're in a quiet neighborhood and want to keep our neighbors happy. Failure to respect the city’s noise ordinance will result in a $250 fee, if city violation fines given you will be liable for them, if the disturbance to neighbors is a problem we hold the right to ask guests to leave. PETS While we love furry friends, our space isn't suited for pets. Service animals are welcome with prior disclosure and doccumentation ONLY. Failure to oblige by these rules will result in a $250 fine. OFF LIMITS Mi casa es tu casa! Most of it at least but please DO NOT attempt to open the garage, locked closets, and cabinets. As these areas are used by owner only BOAT This is, above all a family vacation home and where we store our water toy. Please DO NOT touch the boat, any and all damages to it are your liability during the stay. AIRCONDITIONING The AC has been adjusted to cool on 71ºF Please DO NOT touch it. Keep all the doors closed always, the AC does not have enough power to cool an open home due to the extreme weather conditions in florida 365! SMOKE-FREE HOME No smoking or vaping inside, but you're welcome to smoke outdoors. Please careful to not burn the furniture and dispose of your butts properly! Failure to oblige by these rules will result in a $250 fine MANUAL SMILE (: For safety purposed there are cameras on the exterior of the house! Please DO NOT touch them GLASS DOORS Carefully open and shut them, we do not want to risk injuries as we will not be help liable for anything that happens during your stay BBQ Love grilling? So do we which is why we have supplied the gas for you! Just make sure to clean up after. A $50 fee will be charged for uncared-for grill. ENERGY SAVING Be mindful of your energy use. Please turn all electronics & lights off prior to leaving RATES Reservation rates are NOT CONDITIONED to the dissatisfaction of the guest, change of plans, unpredicted natural disasters, functionality of things in the house or anything else. Upon booking you agree to our cancellation policies, house rules and house condition, as is. DAMAGES We understand accidents happen, but if they do, please let us know. Let us reassure you that as the great and caring hosts that we are, we conduct a VERY THOROUGH inspection before the arrival and upon the departure of each guest. This way we are able to account for everything that is within our home, the functionality and or damages and know what was caused by which guest. Guests agree to cover the cost of any damages caused by anyone in their party, including animals. EMERGENCY In case of an emergency, call 911. Should any evacuation order be issued, please evacuate promptly according to the guidelines posted near the entrance. CHILDREN Keep an eye on your little explorer at all times to ensure their safety, especially outdoors and by the pool and the canal! POOL Dive into fun at your own risk in our unattended pool. Remember, only plastic near the poolside, please! Pool fountain will turn on and off automatically. Do not touch the settings. BEACH Chairs, umbrella, floaties and life vests are in a box in the backyard LIFE JACKET Safety first! Since our Sunset Home is on the canal being cautious on the deck/edges and around the pool is always advised. CANAL Respect the property and its natural beauty. No trash in the waters, fishing allowed! GAMES Cards in kitchen drawer Ping Pong table to be built in the laundry room (put away after using) SNACKS We have kindly left you a few snack in case you are hungry! Keep food out of the bedrooms. Crumbs are for kitchens! GARBAGE DISPOSAL Handle with care, DO NOT throw anything other than soft foods in. It's not a fan of tough jobs. OUTDOOR In our tropical state, animals and insects are everywhere inevitably. We're proactive with pest control, but let us know if you encounter any unwelcome guests. KINDNESS Be the neighbor you'd want to have, treating all you meet with respect and kindness (: CHECK OUT CHECK OUT 12 pm is when we say our goodbyes. FOOD As much as we disagree with the waste of food we cannot accept food from previous guests left behind, even if unopened. Please clean the fridge from ALL FOOD prior to leaving our home. CONSIDERATION As a respect to our cleaning crew please clean up after yourself, no dirty dishes. Wash ALL used dishes. ENERGY SAVING Be mindful of your energy use. Please turn all electronics & lights off prior to leaving LOCK UP Upon check out please lock all windows & doors. Place keys back in lockbox after closing up and reshuffle the code. ACTIVITIES We offer a variety of activities such as games, ping pong table, paddle boat and more. Please put back where you found them after use. FURNITURE & DECOR Please leave the heavy lifting to us and keep the furniture and decor as you found it.
