At Mossy Cove Cottage, we believe that family memories are best made by the lake. As Mike and Karleigh, your hosts, we share a deep connection to Southampton. Mike spent his childhood summers here, swimming in Lake Huron, exploring the charming town, and building lasting memories with family. Now, with our two young kids, we're thrilled to share this special place with you! The space Mossy Cove is located directly across the street from the South Street beach access. The cottage features cathedral ceilings in the living room, a new kitchen and sliding doors leading out to the deck. There is a natural gas BBQ for grilling. Enjoy our private outdoor fire pit just steps away from the cottage, where you can hear the sounds of the lake while surrounded by trees. Share stories, toast marshmallows and cozy up for the night. With three bedrooms to choose from, we can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably. There are many activities to enjoy in the area including the sandy beaches of Lake Huron, the Saugeen Rail Trail; a biking path that connects Southampton to Port Elgin, Rotary Perkins Park and Fairy Lake. Located just 5 minutes from Port Elgin, 20 minutes from Sauble Beach. Other things to note We understand the unique needs of families, and our cottage is equipped to make everyone feel comfortable.
