Come inside & rest your soul! This newly renovated home has plenty of room for families to enjoy time together. It's minutes from the Suwannee River, state parks & natural springs. Live Oak is a family-friendly community with playgrounds, walking paths & even a disc golf course. Our home has a full kitchen, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We have books & games for spending time inside, and plenty of recommendations for nearby fun. We hope you'll visit us soon! The space This home sits on our large home & business shared property. The backyard has a tall privacy fence so guests can enjoy the hangout area privately. The front porch has a rocking bench where guests can relax. Inside, guests will find 3 private bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open-concept living/dining/kitchen area. The living room has a sofa bed. We love our quiet little neighborhood, where folks might stop to say hello or wave while out for a walk. We think you'll find your stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Other things to note FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: - Can I bring my pet? This is NOT a pet friendly home; therefore, no pets of any kind are allowed. Guests bringing pets on property will be assessed a $500 penalty fee. - Can I vape or smoke? No smoking or vaping inside the home. - What is provided with my stay? There is a full kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle and electric griddle. The property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls, and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew, measuring cups & spoons, and more. There are 3 different ways to make coffee: reg drip machine, a K-cup machine and pour-over coffee equipment. We provide k-cups, tea bags, coffee condiments (a few creamers, sugar & Splenda) as well as various spices, including olive oil, salt, pepper and some others. There are bath towels, bed linens, and additional blankets. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dish sponge/rags, paper towels, and dish detergent pods. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and liquid body wash. The laundry room is equipped with laundry detergent, dryer sheets, stain removers, clothes steamer and an iron/ironing board is available on request. The outside firepit typically has enough fire wood for 1 use. There are fire starters and a lighter. We are not able to provide charcoal for the grill. Feel free to bring some marshmallows for the fire pit. - What is the maximum number of guests allowed? 8 guests are allowed. Children over the ages of 2 are considered in this guest count. This is the max capability of the septic system. Please respect this limit. Contact us if you have a request to exceed 8 guests BEFORE you reserve. - Do the TVs include cable service? The TVs are in Guest Mode which allows you to log into your favorite streaming services with the peace of mind knowing that you'll be automatically logged out at the end of your stay. There are lots of free tv options through the Roku Channel. - Bugs? Florida is a tropical climate. This home is monitored and treated regularly by a professional pest control company. However, there is still a possibility of insects from time to time. -Parking? There is plenty of parking in front of the home. The parking is on grass. There is room for large trucks and/or trailers. If additional parking space is needed, we can make accommodations on our commercial property nearby. Cameras: 24/7 working outward-facing outdoor-only cameras are located on the front, sides, and back of house. The doorbell camera records video and audio. There are no indoor cameras. Please be mindful of our cancellation policy: Dates of rentals are guaranteed when payment has been received in full. We strongly encourage our guests to buy travel insurance for coverage in the instance that interruptions force your stay to be canceled. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. We follow a moderate cancellation policy and do not issue refunds unless The National Weather Service or local government authorities order mandatory evacuations.
