Enjoy lake views while you relax in our updated, energy-efficient home close to all that the Upper Valley has to offer! Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center are both nearby as are many skiways, breweries, hiking opportunities in the White Mountains and Appalachian Trail, and all of this with views of Mascoma Lake. The space Welcome to The Overlook! We love this home and hope you will, too. Our little home offers an energy efficient experience with solar panels, some beautiful views of Mascoma Lake (across the street from us!), an excellent location near all of the outdoor recreation you could want as well as Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and a lovely little neighborhood full of good people. While our home does not offer lake access, the public beach is less than a mile down the street with ample parking offerings. The Rail Trail similarly is nearby and offers miles upon miles of exploration on foot or on bicycle. Dartmouth College is an easy 15 minute drive while Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is 10 minutes away. The Upper Valley has so much to offer. Come see it with your small group of friends, family, and/or your (mature, well-behaved) four legged buddy! Guest access The entire main living level is yours to use - it does require stairs (without railings) as the main living level is the second level above a walkout basement. The door you will use to come and go requires you to use stone steps outside that wind around the home to the main level living area. We expect you’ll make yourself comfortable. As for the unfinished basement, please limit your use to the washer and dryer. Other things to note One bedroom has a queen bed, the other bedroom has twin over twin bunk beds, and the living room has a pull out sofa with a full sized mattress. The kitchen has an open stairway leading down to the basement and no regular baby gates fit it - small children must be closely watched at all times. The provided “crib” is a pack n play that guests may set up. Finally, we have two security cameras in place to ensure the safety of our property. One is located at the french doors facing the driveway and the other is monitoring the side entrance.
