Welcome to Borough Cottage, our beautiful 3-bedroom Georgian country cottage in the heart of Chipping Norton. Whether you're visiting for a weekend getaway or a well-deserved break, our cottage is just a short walk from boutique shops, charming cafes, antique stores, outdoor lido and the village cinema. The space Recently renovated, our spacious cottage is set over three floors, blending original Georgian features with modern comforts. Bright, natural light fills the rooms, creating an airy and appealing atmosphere. The living room invites you to unwind with its ample cozy seating, a Smart TV with high-speed WIFI, and a wonderful wood-burning fireplace for cooler evenings. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals. It features: • A dining table for sharing meals • Rangemaster gas hob and oven • Dishwasher • Nespresso machine • Wine cooler • Microwave Our three bedrooms are designed to suit various group configurations: • **Master Bedroom (1st Floor):** A comfortable king-size bed, built-in wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom. A dressing table and chair provide a dedicated workspace. • **Second Bedroom (2nd Floor):** A super-king size bed that can be reconfigured into two single beds upon request. It also includes a dressing table/chair and a built-in wardrobe. • **Third Bedroom (2nd Floor):** A cozy double bed with a pine wardrobe and lovely views of the town. The main bathroom on the first floor includes both a bathtub and a separate shower. Fresh towels and high-quality bed linen are provided for your stay. The Neighborhood: Nestled in the center of Chipping Norton, the gateway to the Cotswold, our cottage places you just steps from the town's quintessential English charm. You are perfectly positioned to explore the best of the area. • **Local Attractions:** Diddly Squat Farm Shop is a 4-minute drive, while Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic are just 10 minutes away. • **Historic Sites:** The magnificent Blenheim Palace is a 20-minute drive. • **Picturesque Towns:** Explore Burford, Broadway, or Stow-on-the-Wold, all less than 20 minutes away by car. • **Further Afield:** Walton Hall is a 30-minute drive, and the historic city of Oxford is 30-40 minutes away. We have a long list of recommendations and would love to help you plan your visit! Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire cottage, including the private garden terrace. Accessed through the kitchen, the patio features an outdoor dining table and chairs, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal in the fresh air. Other things to note House Rules To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe the following rules: • We do not accept bookings for hen or stag parties. • One pet is welcome. We prefer they stay on the lower ground floor (kitchen, living area, utility room) where there is plenty of space and access to the garden Getting Around ** You can park for free for up to 30 minutes in front of the house for loading and unloading your luggage. ** We also provide one free parking space located a 3–5-minutes walk from the property. This space includes access to an EV charger (available at an additional cost). Please mention if you need this space when booking, as it is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternative places to park also available and will be shared upon booking. Other information **Bed Configuration: The super-king bed in the second bedroom can be converted into two single beds. Please request this configuration at the time of booking. **On-site Cooking Course - We offer a unique opportunity to learn how to cook home-style Malaysian/Chinese food right here at the cottage.
