We’re 1.6 miles from the iconic Santa Claus House & North Pole amenities, restaurants, and shops including hardware, auto parts & groceries. Only 15 minutes to Eielson AFB & Ft Wainwright, we are an ideal location for work, relaxation, adventure, or all three! Everything you need & more, including refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and spacious writing desk! The space This airplane hangar apartment offers an authentic Alaskan experience without roughing it. Located in the heart of North Pole, it is enveloped in nature as well as set up perfectly for Aurora viewing. We have recently seen moose, lynx, fox, and families of migrating swans on the lake! The space is outfitted with all the comforts of home, including a plush bed with classic Pendleton bedding, new smart TV, ceiling fan, and room darkening shades. This authentic Alaskan venue is perfect for your trip of a lifetime. Guest access Guests may use anything within the unit and on the lake. Access the lake via the concrete dock to the front-left of the apartment for paddling, floating, swimming, and winter cross country skiing. Please help us keep everyone safe by respecting the hangar, not touching the airplanes right outside your front door and not walking on the runway. Other things to note Please keep windows closed and keep the thermostat between 65 & 70 degrees. Thermostat changes will be gradual and temps will take hours to adjust. Stays over 30 nights: Please know that in accordance with the Alaska Landlord Tenant act we require a signed lease agreement; an increased management fee of $230 for the first 59 nights (which goes towards supplement insurance), and then $80 for each 30 day block after 59 nights; and a completed background check through Safely to completely validate your reservations over 30 nights.
