You’ll enter on the main floor where you’ll find a half bath, coat closet with books and board games, a gas fireplace, wine fridge, large living room with LED TV and Roku, and a dining table that seats 10 (with insert). There is a full kitchen with a large farm sink, a variety of cooking and baking supplies and many spices, salt and pepper, and oils. The main floor exits onto a large porch to enjoy the afternoon sun with views of the lake and a screened in porch just in case it rains. There is a fire pit outside with Adirondack chairs to enjoy s’mores and good company! Upstairs you’ll find 3 full bedrooms and a large bathroom w/ dual shower and dual sinks. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and dressers and closets available for clothing. The 2 guest bedrooms have double beds and black out shades. The primary bedroom has air conditioning that will cool the whole upstairs in 30 mins., a queen-sized bed and a walk-out porch to enjoy lake views & gorgeous foliage perhaps with coffee from the in-room Keurig machine. There are also 2 pack n plays available for use. Downstairs you’ll find a spacious sleeping and hanging out space, with 2 bunk beds, a full bath including bathtub, a washer/dryer, blackout curtains for prime sleeping, kid's toys and books, a large comfy couch and TV with a Roku to let kids lounge on their own or host a movie night. The neighborhood is very family friendly, lots of great places to bike and walk near the lake or further in the woods. There are 4 areaways with lake swimming access, picnic tables and swing sets to spend the day. Approx 10 min drive you can find pizza, ice cream, beer and wine stores, a CVS, and the IGA grocery store. There are great hiking trails along the lake and a number of beautiful waterfall hikes within 30 mins driving. Within a 10 mins drive you’ll be in downtown Hawley with restaurants, breweries and shopping. Within 30 minutes you can be in downtown Honesdale with great shopping and eating, or apple orchards & pumpkin patches to celebrate fall time.
